Ken Hagdal | 1 comments You may be better off starting out with a CMS like wordpress. It's very popular with authors.

pros: fairly easy to setup, has tons of themes and plugins (social websites, e-commerce).

cons: none that I can think of.

Neil Bursnoll | 19 comments Wordpress is great for an easy setup plus it's free. If you want to tweak things like styles and design it's fairly foolproof, but obviously does help if you know how to code.

Kyra Halland (kyrahalland) I like Weebly http://www.weebly.com/ It's do-it-yourself, but with a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG interface that makes it easy to put together and customize a professional-looking website. It has both free and paid levels, with a variety of prices at the paid levels. You can use your own domain name even at the free level. You can have as many pages as you want, a blog (or multiple blogs; my husband uses Weebly for his professional site and has both a law blog and a music blog on it) and even a small store.

here's my site if you want to take a look: www.kyrahalland.com (there's a Weebly link down at the bottom; with a paid site, which I have, you don't have to have the Weebly link, but I want to support this company because I love their service).

I do also have free blogs at Blogspot and Wordpress, where I copy my posts from my Weebly blog because they have options for following and sharing that the Weebly blog doesn't.

Edit: I see you're using Weebly already. *derp* My suggestion is before you pay someone else, look around at all the different themes and customization options available on Weebly and try different things. I think you can come up with something you'd be really happy with.

Jasemine Denise (jaseminedenise) I know of one! http://http://design.veronicandavis.com/, I've studied some of her work and found that she is phenomenal in both price and communication. I was her understudy for quiet sometime and I know that she's got extreme experience in Wordpress, CSS, CSS+ HTML, and photoshop.

There are examples of her work on her website!
