ok so my only dude is the head guard but if u don't wanna be heteronormative that's also chill.

in that case, i have an english duchess hellbent on wiping out people in her way, french princess (evangeline), a kleptomaniac maid, and a chinese princess (she's aromantic though).

my french princess is looking for a power match (marriage/alliance that benefits her) so a royal of a large/powerful country is most realistic.

my english duchess is looking more for an ally to aid her in murdering the english prince and princess/ devious plots.

anaya shan, the 18 year old bisexual princess of india

it is as thought anaya has two personalities: the first being the quiet anaya, the one who never raises her voice and prefers the company of books to real people. when she is alone, she enjoys reading and writing, and a walk through a peaceful garden seems like the perfect afternoon. this is, of course, the calm before the storm. the second personality was cultivated by her father. he wants anaya to become the future face of the indian royal crown, and so he has molded her into the perfect political strategist. anaya is still quiet, but cunning, able to locate another's insecurities quickly. she knows the importance of keeping india in power.

anaya has grown up despising the english crown. their increased presence in india has made all uneasy. her father, the king, places upon her a duty to make alliances with other territories to get a leg up over that blasted island. anaya sees the resentment brewing in her people, and she is eager to find a solution. even if it means getting her hands dirty. anaya knows her responsibility is first and foremost to her people. she owes it to them to ensure their future. anaya's mother, on the other hand, wishes for her to find love and marry a nice person. anaya's mother spent many years instilling in her daughter the values of a good wife. anaya tries to find a balance between her two parents' wishes but is starting to feel stretched very thin.
