Nice list! You've got some heavy-duty books there, hope you enjoy them all. I'm also going to try to get through One Hundred Years of Solitude in the January group read. I think I started it before and didn't care for it too much. I'm hoping the group read will spur me on to get through it this time! Good luck to you & enjoy! :)
I read your three Old books and The Grapes of Wrath, all enjoyable reads. Don't give up on Les Miserables too soon. It's a great story, but takes a little while to get in to for many people. Hope you enjoy them all.
I read one hundred years in Chinese at 16 and hated it. Hope this time the group can carry me through.

Great list! Midnight's Children does get bogged down a bit when they're talking about Indian/Pakistani history & politics, but I still really enjoyed it.
I've been meaning to read One Hundred Years of Solitude for a really long time. I'm looking forward to the group read next month.
