"Alright, fine,0 Sadra held her hands in surrender. "It's your hair."

"Thank you..." he muttered and pushed the button to open the elevator.

Sadra walked in as soon as the door opened. "So we heading to you lab?"

"No... you saw my lab. I'm giving you a tour now." Deon announced.

"Alrighty, sounds like a plan," Sadra said brightly."

Deon got into the elevator and pushed the down button. The elevator soared downwards towards the level below.

Sadra whistled. "So where are we going to now?"

"The astronomy room.." he told her with a grin.

Sadra took in the room and just stared. "This is one astronomy room."

Deon grinned proudly saying: " I know I love it! But that's not it..." he walked past the room and into the hall.

Sadra slowly followed Deon. "Where are we going now?"

"Someplace..." he told her mischievously.

"That doesn't sound good Deon," Sadra said cautiously. "I'm not gonna smell like gulon for a week, am I?"

"Woah," Sadra whistled. "What a place."

"Thanks!" he said, trying not to look pleased.

"So what do you do in here?" Sadra asked as she walked into the room and scanned everything.

"Just enjoy the view...ohhh-and there's the pool." Deon announced.

"You have a what?" Sadra asked, slightly confused.

"Pool, spelled p-o-o-l." Deon explained.

"I don't know what that is," Sadra shook her head.

"Oh, yeah...about that." Deon muttered. "It's a human thing, someplace you can swim in...for fun."

"For fun?" Sadra scrunhed up her brow. "That's weird."

"Do you know how to swim?" he asked her.

"No?" Sadra raised an eyebrow. "I've never been in water so it's hard to say if I do or not."

"Oh. Your life seems so complicated." Deon said with a smirk.

"It is not," Sadra protested. "Just because I don't have something you seemed to have, doesn't mean my life is complicated."

"Whatever." Deon muttered.

Sadra sighed and continued to pace the room. "Shall we move on with the tour?"

"Yeah." Den lead her back to the elevator.

Sadra followed after Deon and asked, "So, where we heading to now?"

"The rest of the mansion." Deon said, stepping into the elevator.

Sadra walked inside also and leaned onto the wall. "Something bothering you, Deon?"

"Nothing." Deon said, hating himself for lying. He stared at the floor, trying to hide his blush.

Sadra shrugged. "Once the tour's over. . . what else could we do? I don't have to be at home until evening or so."

Deon's mouth tugged into a smile. "How about we make an epic gadget together?" he suggested.

"Sure!" Sadra said excitedly. "I've got a few ideas. In fact, do you ant to just skip the tour and just make this awesome gadget?"

"Yeah." Deon pushed a button in the elevator.

"Yes!" Sadra exclaimed. "Nothing like building a good gadget before a school day."

"Yup." Deon said, as the elvator went up.

"Deon," Sadra started, "why do like creating gadgets?"

"Why do you need to know?" he said, with a sharp tone.

"Making conversation," Sadra shrugged. "And I'm just curious."

Deon sighs. He had hoped she wouldn't ask this question. "Because it takes m-umm...nothing." Deon muttered.

"Because it take nothing. . .?" Sadra prompted. "Or do you just not want to talk about it?"

"Uh..." Deon's head felt swimming. He sucked in a long breath and then another. And another... Then he began....

"Because it takes my mind away from the-" he started. The pain. That's what he was going to say, but he couldn't find the words.

"If you don't want to talk about it, that's fine," Sadra said as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "We all have things we'd rather not talk about but if you do want to say it, I'll be here."

"I don't want to talk about it." he murmured.

"Very well," Sadra said with a shrug. "Now, where are we heading to now?"
