Whitnee (That's fun… summer classes? How's that going?)

message 102: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Miserable. I've got a speech class for three hours and then an English class for three, but I've only got four weeks left and I only go twice a week so I just wanna get my A's and get out)

message 103: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (I bet. That… sounds boring. Even though extra training on English and shit is very good to have.)

message 104: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (I love the classes, I just hate the times)

message 105: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (That's very good, are your professors good?)

message 106: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (Yeah, they're great :)) I love them so much because they're so generous and nice but also good instructors)

message 107: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (That's so good! I'm really happy. Are you liking the college life?
Ps… should we skip to the next team meeting?)

message 108: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (If you'd like, yeah we can skip! And I'm loving it much more than high school. Like I'm so grateful for this. I honestly don't know if I would have physically made it through high school)

message 109: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (Haha I'm glad you're loving it!
Oh, by the way… I'm going to be a jerk and make you start us off. Ha!)

message 110: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (I can do that :) hopefully, at least)

"Why exactly won't you make these clouds go away?" Aedan hissed as he stood in the middle of the courtyard, big arms crossed over his chest as he stared up at the sky with a glare usually reserved for the few people he despised. The gross-looking weather made him... umcomfortable, anxious, like he was just constantly waiting for it to start pouring.
Thayer gave a heavy sigh as she paced anxiously, arms crossed over her chest as she stood waiting for the others to show up. Monroe was waiting silently and at the same table and in the same spot she had been in this morning, almost like she hadn't moved all day, and Asher was playing an obnoxiously loud game on his iPad. "Mood directly effects weather control powers. Nothing I can do to change it," she said, feeling like a teacher who had repeated herself for the millionth time to students who refused to listen.
Asher let out a dry, cocky smirk. "That's why we wanted to train, stupid," he mumbled as he sat leaning against a tree in the grass. He was getting impatient, and Thayer was looking at him like he was a meal now. He just wanted to hurry up and split up.

message 111: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (Haha, it's perfect!)

Jurnee was running late once again, and this time it was because of her family. But she made it so that they could split off and work through whatever they needed too. She wasn't going to be much of help. But at least she could take a bullet or two for someone. She needed to learn how to be a nicer girl apparently. She strolled on over, her ponytail hitting the back of her left shoulder blade. She usually tried to braid it, but not today. She felt her throat go dry. "Hey guys." She said quietly, her eyes scanning over everyone. Thayer… god, she hated Jurnee.
Eli had actually showed up, once again. But this time it was to merely watch everyone crash and burn. They weren't good at working like a team. And every time, he could feel the fight hours before any fights actually broke out. He just wanted to be quiet and hang out in the background, though he was sure that the wonderful monroe would actually make him work for whatever it was he needed to work for.
Nash jogged across the lot. The weather seemed to get worse and worse since they found that they were going to be training with their powers once again. So,!)3 basically went to another time to not have to deal with Thauer and her emotions wreck.

message 112: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Aedan watched with crossed arms and narrowed eyes as he watched all the other members of their group file outside. He could practically feel the tension among every single person that was there; it wasn't just awkward, either. It made him anxious, like someone was just going to catch fire or something.
Thayer, deciding she wasn't going to be a complete asshole to Jurnee because she was focusing most of her energy on making sure her bad mood didn't make the sky start crying, counted the members of their team with the frown. "We're missing Dakota," she noted once Nash came practically running into their little group.
Asher's ears perked up at the sound of her name, and he found himself standing up quickly and searching the area with his beady eyes. "Did you guys see her?" he said nervously, looking around at no one in particular, and Monroe couldn't help but laugh though she kept her mouth shut and decided not to say anything.

(I'm such a horrible student. I just woke up and my second class starts at 1 but I think I'm gonna ditch...)

message 113: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (It's okay. You aren't a horrible student.)

Nash shook his head. "It's hard to see someone when I'm busy making out with someone from a different time." He commented as he stepped over Eli. Yeah… he was going to be an asshole. But he didn't like these stupid meetings and it bothered him to even be there. He had to leave someone who was fun.
Jurnee stopped in her tracks. "That's… she…" she could have sworn the other girl had been with her like two hours ago… before Jurnee went home. And she was talking about the meeting. Kota was always on time. Always. If not early. So if Jurnee was late… then something happened with Kota.
Eli licked his lips. "She's coming… I think it's her…" he only spoken when necessary. And just a couple feet away came this brunette. And she has similar features to the redhead. Only she was taller. And she looked upset.
"Hello…" Kota mumbled.

message 114: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) (I'll have my replies up super soon, promise!)

message 115: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee (When ever…
I've got nothing going on.$

message 116: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Thayer just snickered and shook her head as Dakota appeared, basically out of the shadows. "How do you make it through school when you look like a completely different person every ten minutes?" she asked rather bluntly. The power, however it worked, was extremely impressive. She'd explained it multiple times, but Thea's lackluster memory still couldn't ever seem to recall anything more than it had to do with illusions, which she almost always automatically associated to magician.
Asher spun on his heel, forcing himself not to take a step back when the taller, darker-haired girl showed up behind him. "You look... glum," he pointed out. Half of the sentence was already out there, and he decided the second half was way too creepy and personal to say out loud - ever - so he went with something else, which was also true.
Monroe just placed her chin in her hand, examining the nails on her free hand as she muttered out the dull words, "You're such a dumbass." It was true; Asher fit every nerd stereotype a single human could come up with, including being embarrassingly socially awkward in front of girls.

message 117: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Kota rolled her eyes. Which usually wasn't apart of her personality. She was nice. When on her good side. "I can make people believe anything I want them to believe so this could be exactly who I am the entire time." Like she really needed to explain to Thayer what was going on. The other girl didn't give two shits about her and what she had going for her. "Thanks Asher, you look like you are an ass." She snapped. She wasn't this vicious. But this was more like Dakota. Not Kota and not Jillian.
Jurnee blinked a couple of times. "It sounds like you've been spending too much time with, the Slayer." She mumbled, her eyes bright at the fact that Kota was being so snappy.
Eli thought it was pretty funny. This was like… their group. They were so messed up and yet they pretended like they were this well put together set of people and it couldn't have been more of a lie.

message 118: by Rosaleen (new)

Rosaleen Gallagher (rlgallagher) Thea's dark eyes snapped over to wear Jurnee was sitting, and with crossed arms and a low tone, she threatened, "You know, that mess you call hair is looking really flammable right now." She didn't want to cause a scene; scenes weren't her thing, but she really didn't want Jurnee to be pushing her buttons either.
"Enough!" Monroe shouted sternly like an impatient mother. She shot up in her seat as she looked around at their small group, and she couldn't help but think that they needed a lot more work than just some training. She let out a long sigh before she finally said, "Let's... just split up, go our separate ways before some of us get hurt. Or burned." She shot Thayer a look, but the tall brunette just rolled her eyes. "Asher, where should our teams go?" Her voice was polite; though she didn't agree with Asher being the unspoken leader of their group, she was polite enough to respect it.
Asher had been busy wallowing in self-pity for the past twenty seconds, ever since Kota had snapped at him like that, but when Monroe spoke to him, he snapped back to reality and adjusted his glasses on his face. "Um, I'm not sure," he admitted. He looked around the group with raised eyebrows as if asking them to give their input at any time.
Thea sighed heavily before finally saying, "There's a warehouse on the edge of town that I may or may not have broken in to."
Aedan smirked, but finally piped up to join the conversation. "I've got access to an underground base." One of - if not the only perk to being a government guinea pig.

message 119: by Whitnee (new)

Whitnee Jurnee only rolled her eyes. If anything happened to her hair… she could probably get a wig. Yet, that was way besides the point. She crossed her arms over her 'a' cup chest, letting her eyes fall onto the ground.
Nash chewed on his bottom lip. Warehouse didn't sound too bad. "I think we should go to a warehouse." He nodded in agreement. And some would say that it was merely because he had been trying in overtime to get into someone's panties. But it wasn't the case this time. He needed to work on his abilities. Only, he thought it wasn't so bad being a superhero who could go through time to learn and experience what the day and age was like years ago. So much had changed. And so much more was going to change. It was crazy honestly.
(I wish I could think of places so some of my characters weren't such… ughs.)
Kota sat down next to where Monroe had been seated only moments ago. "I've got nothing so it looks like Thayer's little illegal spot will have to do. And besides. If anything goes wrong we have some good team members." She said quietly.
