The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Short stories aren't my favorite. I feel like they could be great but are just too short to accomplish anything. However, being as huge of a Harry Potter fan as I am, I've been wanting to read The Tales of Beedle the Bard for a long time.

The tales were a lot of fun to read, but what I enjoyed the most was the "addition" of Dumbledore's notes. He's my favorite literary character of all time. And, getting inside his head was a dream come true.

The summary is right; it definitely gave me some new insight into the world of Harry Potter.

Glad you found something you could embrace! I'm finding as I get older that I am appreciating the short story form so much more. I don't know if that's because my attention span is diminishing, or if I like the fact that they really make me think! Hopefully the latter.

I'm glad you liked the book, I did too. I loved Dumbledore's notes.
