I've personally always really liked the Loopi. When I first read through The Beast Hunter I thought there was no way that I would remember who was whom; however, I think that Lindsay has given each of them a distinct enough personality that it's actually quite easy. And as for pronouncing their names, well, I have insider information so I'm good to go. ;)
By far my favorite is Grel'zi'tael. I love his calm stoicism, his love and kindness to everyone willing to accept it, and his wisdom. I am one of those who doesn't believe that just because you're old you must be wise. Age can bring experience, and if you apply yourself quite a bit of knowledge, but those aren't wisdom. Wisdom has experience and knowledge, but it is the ability to know when to and how to share them. I really get that from Grel'zi'tael. If he were my grandfather I would want to grow up to be like him, and would count myself fortunate to be blessed with such an amazing man in my life.

However, the other part of me would be interested to know the entire back story between these two. Perhaps it would help me better understand their motivations and reactions.
