It seems long looking at it here, (i could be wrong) and from what I've read, the word count should go at the end of the query (but I'm not super experienced with this). If you'd like to email me i can try to help with some suggestions.

Dear [agent],
I am seeking representation for my romantic suspense novel, entitled IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER, complete at approximately 95K words.
Alex Keller has had one goal for the past seventeen years—kill the man responsible for brutally murdering her mother.
After witnessing her mother’s murder at age eleven, Alex Keller is thrown into the foster system and forced to survive a new life surrounded by strangers. There she meets Mason Reid, a boy with anger issues and a gentle side belying his rough exterior. The unlikely pair soon form a friendship, but their budding romance is cut short when Reid turns eighteen and has to leave Alex behind.
Twelve years later, Alex finds herself wounded and unable to go to the hospital. After all, they tend to ask questions when gunshots are involved—especially those fired by a cop. There’s only one person she knows she can trust. As the owner of a mixed martial arts gym, Reid is all too familiar with violence and more than capable of tending to Alex’s injury. But his concerns run deeper than a mere flesh wound. He knows Alex better than anyone, despite the years of separation, and realises her plans will result in blood on her hands and a prison sentence. Unless he can use his unexpected connections to save the woman he loves.
Trained as a bail enforcement agent, Alex has honed the skills necessary to exact her revenge on those responsible for covering up her mother’s murder. The dirty cops will be exposed. The medical examiner will lose her license. Her stepfather’s accomplice will be extradited back to Nigerian officials. And most importantly, her mother’s killer will receive the fate he deserves.
IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER is set in San Francisco and is written in first-person with a past/present narrative.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
