Jesse walked out of the washroom wearing black shorts and he had his shirt hanging out from his pocket. He held his wet trunks out in front of him, trying to get them to stop dripping. He hung them on the line just outside the back door.

Paradise finished getting dressed and went out to the living room, she put her phone and camera on the couch and went to hang the bikini on the line near the back door.
Jesse spotted Paradise and walked over. He looked out the window to see everyone still playing the game, he let out a sigh, slightly disappointed he wasn't playing. His hair was spiked up from the water, a few droplets rolled down his cheeks and onto the floor. "Hey." Jesse said, looking over to Paradise.
Paradise looked at Jesse, " Hey, just an FYI you look like a wet rat," Paradise said with a smile.
"Come on, you like it." Jesse winked at her before walking into the kitchen to get some water. He poured himself a glass and chugged it down quickly, taking seconds. He wiped a hand over his forehead, ridding the water and sweat.
Paradise laughed, " Yeah because guys who look like wet rats are totally my type," Paradise said as she watched him.
Jesse narrowed his eyes at her before finishing his glass. He placed his now empty glass in the sink and got out his phone, a bored expression on his face. He scrolled through messages and updates on his social medias.
Paradise said not another word, she walked to the living room and fetched her phone, she came back with it in her hand, she was texting her brother, telling him that she met his favorite viner, and now he was sending her hate texts in French, which caused Paradise to laugh as she hopped onto the counter near the doorway of the kitchen.
Jesse looked up from his phone with a confused expression. He watched Paradise laugh at her phone. Knowing it was weird just to watch her he prepped his gaze away and texted a friend of his own. Jesses blonde hair was almost glowing I the rays of sunlight filtering in from the window. The laughs and yells had quieted down from outside and some people began walking in the get changed.
The girl who had been glaring at Paradise earlier came over to Jesse, a fake worried expression on her face, she twirled a piece of wet hair around her index finger, " So Jesse are you okay? I mean Paradise must have been quite heavy and when she fell down I can only guess she fell on you, so are you okay?" She asked innocently. Paradise looked up casually from her phone and watched her best friend flirt with Jesse, she gave the boy a smirk.
Jesse looked up and he raised an eyebrow seeing the girl with red hair. "Paradise doesn't weight much, I was trying to move out of the balls way and fell. I managed to swim out of her way before she fell. I'm fine, thanks for asking." Jesse said, trying to be as polite as possiable. He focused on her hair as she spun it around her finger. "So, I never caught your name." Jesse said, waiting for her name. He glanced over his shoulder towards Paradise smirking at him. Jesse quickly looked back to the girl before she could notice who he looked at.
" Mary, my name is Mary," The girl replied with a small smile, she hadn't noticed that he looked at someone, she just hoped Paradise was feeling very jealous right now.
Jesse looked at her with an amused shine in his eyes. "Nice to meet you, Mary." He said, not bothering to hold out his hand. He crossed his arms, wanting her to be open on why she actually came to talk to him. Jesses arms tensed as he leaned back against the counter.
Mary bit her lip, she twirled her hair around her finger still, " I uh...actually came over....to ask if maybe....you wanted to hang.....out sometime?" Mary asked as she glanced over at Paradise who gave her a thumbs up, Mary knew that was not the reaction she was hoping for but she smiled brightly anyways and turned to Jesse, knowing that her best friend was quite okay with this.
"Well, I'm not going to be around for much longer. When Paradise goes back to New York I plan to go along." Jesse said, hoping to get an upset reaction from Mary. He grinned lazily at Mary, watching her hair spiral around her index finger. He was surprised Paradise wasn't upset. All he knew was she didn't like Mary but not why.
Mary gasped, " What?!" Mary yelled, " You'd rather go with that bitch rather then go on a date with me?" Mary screamed and Paradise leaped up, she brought Mary into a hug, to which Mary took before pushing away and running off to get away. Paradise shrugged before coming over to Jesse, she smirked, " I'm still her best friend but she's a bitch, like seriously she's a bitch," Paradise said.
Jesse laughed and shook his head. "You two are confusing. You both don't like each other but you still consider her your bestfriend?" Jesse sounded confused as he said this. He eyed Paradise curiously and looked off to see where Mary had gone to but she was already out of sight.
Paradise sighed and laughed, " Its hard to explain," Paradise said as she placed her hands on both sides of Jesse, she didn't care at all who saw, " It's a love and hate relationship is the simplicity of it," Paradise said.
Jesses calm posture stiffened as she placed her hands on either side of him. He looked at her and flashed a lopsided grin. "Love and hate relationship, huh?" Jesse said, eyeing her hands that cornered him in on the counter.
Paradise grinned, " Pretty much," Paradise said, " So are you rally coming with me to New York when I leave?" paradise asked.
Jesse nodded, "Why not." He shifted from foot to foot. He could feel the heat from her arms on his own.
Paradise nodded and removed her hands, " Hmm, well Pa and Ma won't be too happy but I'm sure they won't mind you coming with me," Paradise said.
"Wait. You live with your parents?" Jesse asked nervously. His hands fell to his sides and played with the hem of his shirt. "I mean meeting your parents would be akward."
Paradise laughed, " No I don't live with my parents, but since I have fans all over the place they are bound to find us and get pictures therefore my parents will see," Paradise replied.
Jesse nodded, still looking slightly nervous. "Last time I was in New York I didn't post about it till I left because I knew some fans would come looking." He laughed slightly.
Paradise smiled, " I can't go anywhere without seeing a fan, you're lucky you don't have any stalkers," Paradise said.
Jesse nodded. "Yeah, I don't post where I'm going till I'm away from the place. I like my fans and all...but you know, things get wild." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. He spotted Alicia walking putting something on the clothes line.
Alicia came over and smiled, " Im glad you guys are getting along but beware of Christopher, he seems pretty jealous of you Jesse," Alicia said as she left the two alone again.
Jesse nodded to Alicia like he knew who she was talking about. Once she left he looked back to Paradise. "Who's Christopher?" He asked. Jesse suddenly had a tight feeling in his chest, wondering if he was her boyfriend or ex.
" Just a guy who's been flirting with me and asking me out for like months now, I keep telling him no and he just doesn't get it, i had an boyfriend once and Christopher chased him away," Paradise replied
"Wow." Jesse murmured. He pulled out his phone and looked at the time, it was a little past noon. "I think I'm going to go get some food from In N Out, wanna come along?" Jesse asked, sliding his phone back into his pocket and taking out his car keys. The keys jingled loudly and shone bright gold in the suns light. The hook he used to put his keys on was full, all the keys were tightly pressed together. Jesse grabbed his shirt that was dangling from his pocket and slipped it on, knowing you can't go into a restaurant shirtless.
Paradise nodded, and then smiled, " Sure, why not? I have no other buisness here to attend," Paradise said, she grabbed her camera from where she left it and decided to grab her computer from her car before they went so that she could edit and then upload her video.
Jesse smiled and walked out to his car. He opened the door for her and grinned, "Ladies first." After opening the door he walked to his side, keys swinging from his finger. Jesse slid into the drivers seat and started up the engine. The black mustang's roof slid back smoothly when Jesse pressed the button. He reached for his camera and set it up on the dash board in front of them. Jesse glanced over to Paradise, seeing if she was ready to go. He revved the engine, causing the car to roar and vibrate.
Paradise followed him out to the car, " Hold up, I gotta grab my laptop," Paradise said as she looked at his car, she then set her camera and her phone on the passenger seat. She then turned around and ran to her car.
Jesse waited for Paradise to come back with her laptop. The radio played quietly in the back ground. He tapped his fingers on the leather steering wheel cover impatiently. The black leather seats were warmed from the warm LA sun.
Paradise quickly grabbed her laptop and the cord that she could use to connect her camera to her laptop, she hurried back over to Jesse's car, " Sorry my car is messy, I couldn't find the cord," Paradise explained as she put her laptop on the dashboard, she picked up her phone and camera and sat down in the passenger seat, she closed the door.
"Ready?" Jesse asked, he placed his hands on the wheel. He turned out of the drive way without waiting for an answer. Jesse drove slow enough that the laptop wouldn't slip off of the dash board. He reached over to his camera and turned it on. He began talking casually about possibly going to New York and so forth. Jesse didn't like his fans to know where he was going all the time, he liked privacy.
Paradise only piped in to correct him on his wording and showed her face only a couple times when she was moving around to get comfortable, she was editing her vlog while listening to Troye Sivan through headphones.
Jesse looked at her for a second before shutting off his camera. In N Out wasn't much farther. He patted his shorts and sighed in relief knowing he had brought his wallet along. Jesse turned up the volume on the radio and hummed along. His humming was covered by the loud beat of the song. He turned the car into the parking lot and shut off the radio. Jesse pushed his sun glasses on top of his head before cutting the engine. "Come on, I'm starving." Jesse said after gently nudging Paradise's shoulder to get her attention.
Paradise closed her laptop and she turned her music off, she removed her headphones and smiled, " Oh goodie, we're here, I'm starved," Paradise said as she put her laptop on the dashboard along with her camera.
Jesse grabbed his keys and jumped out of the car. The mustang's roof folded back closed as he walked towards the front doors. He knew what he wanted already, he had a few favourites of the menu. Jesse swung the door open causing everyone to look his way as the bells above the door rung. Jesse waited, holding the door open for Paradise.
Paradise got out of the car at the same time Jesse did and she hurried to catch up with him when he headed towards the restaurant, she smiled and thanked him, she walked through the door with a smile on her face.
A few people seemed to recognize him and some people began to whisper. Jesse walked over to the counter and ordered and double cheese burger for himself and handed the money over for his meal. He inwardly face palmed himself, knowing he should have paid for Paradise's meal as we. He shook his head and stepped back so she could order as he waited for his meal. A few people we looking for their phones, getting ready to come over after they ate to get pictures.
Paradise looked at the menu, oblivious to some civilians who were frantically whispering into their phones about her, she tapped her chin and then ended up ordering just a basic sandwich.
Jesse looked down so his face was hidden as a girl began to franticly snap pictures. A manger came storming out and told her no pictures in the building and all the other girls with her began to laugh when the manager walked back. Jesse than looked up as his meal was slid to him from across the counter. He thanked the lady and grabbed his tray, waiting for Paradise to get her meal.
Paradise grinned when she got her meal, she thanked the cashier and then turned to Jesse, " Are we eating here or to go?" Paradise asked as she noticed some girls frantically trying to take pictures of him, she then grunts when some people come up to her begging her to sign some of their stuff, to which Paradise kindly tells them no.
"How about just outside? They have some tables out there." Jesse suggested, watching as the disappointed fans slunk back to their tables.
Paradise nodded, " Alright then," Paradise said, she decided to lead the way out to the tables.
Jesse walked out behind her and dropped his tray onto the table, causing a few fries to tumble to the ground. He sat on the chair and took a large bite from his burger.
Paradise sat down and began eating her burger, she looked at Jesse, " You know this is going to cause people to think we're together," Paradise said.
