Jesse stiffened as she reached behind him and came back with a cutting knife. "You'd kill someone, or yourself?" He asked, masking his worry with a bored expression. He stopped his finger drumming and leaned back on his hands, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. He heard his name faintly being called from the next room but he ignored it and waited to see what Paradise would do.

" Someone, duh, I have lots of people that need me and if they learned I killed myself, Klondike bar or not, they'd miss me terribly," Paradise said with a scoff as she put the knife back where it went, " Go see what that person wanted, I'll still be here to answer all your questions," Paradise said with a smile.
Jesse shrugged and pushed himself off of the counter but as he did another girl walked in. "Hey babe." She said, walking over to him and placing a hand on his arm. "What are you doing here?" Jesse hissed under his breath, shrugging her hand off.
Paradise ignored the girl completely, she wasn't going to lie, she was jealous now, Jesse had a girlfriend? who was beautiful and looked really cool. " Is this important? If so should I leave the kitchen?" Paradise asked
Jesse glanced over his shoulder at Paradise. "No. I think Brooklyn was just leaving." He looked back down to the dark haired girl. She huffed and murmured something into his ear before storming off. A few moments later the house shook with the sound of a door slamming. Jesse signed and ran and through his hair. He turned on his heel to face Paradise again.
Paradise raised an eyebrow, perhaps the girl wasn't his girlfriend, " Alright, spill, clearly you and that girl have history, what happened between you guys? It's okay if you don't want to tell me," Paradise said as she looked at Jesse.
Jesse shrugged, trying to think of a simple way to explain. "Ex girlfriend who cheated with multiple guys. I found out and broke up with her but she swears all the other guys meant nothing. And now, she wants me back." Jesse said, leaving most of the details but had given her the outline of what had happened.
Paradise shook her head, " Tsk tsk tsk, that girl doesn't understand the fundamentals of a relationship," Paradise as she looked at Jesse, " I know there's more to the story, but let's change subjects, If you could, which famous celebrity would you make out with?" Paradise asked with a smile.
Jesse shoulders relaxed as the subject changed. "Selena Gomez, duh." He laughed, crossing his arms across his chest. "What about you? What celebrity would you make out with?" Jesse looked at her with a call expression. He crossed his legs as he leaned back on the fridge across from her.
" Luke Hemmings definitely, or Calum Hood," Paradise said with a grin, " Yet I wouldn't turn down a female celebrity either," Paradise added with a laugh.
Jesse grinned at her laugh. He had seemed to have forgotten about Brooklyn coming over and seemed far more relaxed. "Luke Hemmings would look better with you." He said, his mouth pulled back into a smile.
Paradise put a hand to her heart, " Awe, really? You'd think Luke Hemmings would look good with me? That's the nicest thing a guy has ever said," Paradise said as a chorus of 'hey's' were heard from the living room, clearly she had hurt all her friends feelings. Paradise laughed.
Jesses eyes widened slightly, now knowing all the others were listening on their conversation. "Would you rather kiss a goat or any Youtuber of your choice?" He asked, changing their questions to would you rather. He glanced over his shoulder, hearing a few murmured whispers from the next room.
" I'd kiss any YouTuber of my choice," Paradise said, she didn't pay attention to everyone else, who cared if they listened in, as long as they didn't contribute to the conversation Paradise was okay with them listening in.
Jesse rubbed the back of his neck and looked down at his feet. "I would to, there are some pretty hot girls out there." He laughed and slipped his large jacket off. He tossed it onto the counter, not thinking much of it.
" True, there are some pretty hot girls out there," Paradise said loudly, " You made Alicia blush!" Commented one of the guys, that was her mission, Paradise laughed. " Anyways, which youtuber would you kiss?" Paradise asked.
"I have no idea. There is just to many to pick from." Jesse shrugged and grinned hearing that Alicia blushed. He shook his head, amused by all the people in this house. "Who would you kiss?"
" Either you or Alicia," Paradise answered truthfully, " Or markiplier," Paradise said with a smile.
"Me, huh?" Jesse said, wiggling his eyebrows at her. "You have good taste." He grinned, hoping to get some sort of embarrassed expression from her.
" Did I say that out loud?" Paradise said with a blush on her cheeks. She looked away from Jesse.
Jesse grinned wickedly and walked over, draping his arm over her shoulder. "You did." He laughed, leading her towards the living room and the others.
Paradise blushed even more when she felt his arm around him.
Jesse smirked down at her as they entered the living room. Some of the people ran off and acted like they hadn't been listening but others didn't care.
Eric raised an eyebrow at the arm around Paradise, " Have something to share or is that just an friendly arm?" Eric asked as Alicia looked down with a huge blush on her cheeks. Everyone knew she had a crush on Paradise, it wasn't hard to detect.
"Just a friendly arm." Jesse said, not wanting to upset Alicia. He let his arm slide off Paradise's shoulder and fall back to his side. Jesse grinned seeing Alicia blushing and looking down to the floor. He walked over to a couch and plopped down.
Eric laughed, then watched as Paradiae plopped down next to Alicia, the two girls began whispering in some different language, so Eric turned to Jesse, " That Brooklyn girl tried flirting her way into here you know, she actually pushed Alicia into a wall and walked into the house like she owned it, is that normal with her?" Eric asked Jesse.
Jesse ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "Yeah, she thinks she can do anything." He looked over to Alicia and Paradise who were whispering to each other. He tilted his head, not sure what they saying.
Eric nodded, " Well just warn her, that if she tried to hurt Paradise in anyway possible that Paradise has more then just one group of friends ready to protect her, anyways, what were you and Para doing in the kitchen?" Eric asked as he watched the girls stand up and walk out of the living room to the backyard.
Jesse pealed his gaze away from the two girls headed outside and looked back to Eric. "Just getting to know each other better. We took turns asking questions and answering." He twirled a little thread that was coming out of the couch in his hand.
Eric nodded, he then cracked his fingers, " Anyone would be dumb not to see that you guys like each other, I'm like her big brother when her actual brother is around, so you know I'll hurt you if you hurt her correct?" Eric asked with a creepy smile on his face as the girls returned with cute smiles and blushes on their faces.
Jesse raised an eyebrow at him as he saw the two blushing when they came in. "I don't think she likes me." He said, just loud enough for Eric to hear. Jesse than looked back to them, "What are two flustered about?"
Eric chuckled, he loved when guys were insecure about who loved who, he looked at the girls, " We may or may not have just shared our first kiss? and I just realized my crush for Para was just a crush," Alicia said in a confused tone. " Anyways, Eric go tell the guys to get dressed in swim trunks, I've got extras upstairs in your guys size, so Jess, go join them in changing, send the girls up to my room," Alicia instructed as Paradise stood off to the side, blushing and mumbling to herself about something.
Jesse had known they would go swimming and had brought his own trunks. He jogged out of the house and over to his car were he got his black trunks. Jesse than walked back into the house and headed off towards the bathroom which was still open. He came out of the bathroom a few moments later in his trunks and his clothes folded in a pile.
Paradise was dressed in a bikini she borrowed from one of the other girls who had brought two swimsuits and now she was waiting for everyone else as she stood by the pool with Eric at her side.
Jesse made his way to the back door to join the others and left his clothes on the couch on his way. He swung the door open and walked out, squinting in the sudden change of lighting. He yawned and walked towards Eric and Paradise. "Ready to swim?" He asked, rubbing his eyes as they adjusted to the light.
" No." both of them said as the sun beat down on them, causing the two sibling like friends to squint as they stared at the shimmering water, Paradise dashed into the house to get her camera and grabbed it, she was filming herself as she walked back outside.
"Is that water proof?" Jesse called out to Paradise as she came back out with her camera. He watched as everyone began to come outside. A few people slipped into the water right away while others went and sat on the pool edge.
Paradise laughed, " Of course it is! I would be filming half my videos I do if it wasn't waterproof," Paradise said with a laugh.
Jesse dove into the deep end of the pool, water splashed up onto the few people sitting near. Jesse let himself fall right to the bottom of the pool before pushing himself back up to the surface. He shook out his hair once he reached the edge of the pool. The few people who had been splashed by him were now laughing and a couple came into the pool with him. He looked over to Paradise. "You coming in or what?"
Paradise watched him, her camera angled at him as he dived in and came back up, she grinned when he asked her if she was coming in, she sighed softly and came to the edge of the pool, she then did a cannonball into the pool.
Jesse waited for her to come back up, a surprised expression on his face. He held himself on the edge of the pool, his legs dangling in the water.
Paradise grinned when she came back up, she pushed her hair out of her face, " I love summer," Paradise said to the camera, she looked at Jesse and her friends, Alicia sat with another girl and was giggly and blushing, Paradise frowned at that and sighed, she swam over to Jesse and turned off her camera, she put it off to the side and let out a sad sigh as she put her arms on the edge of the pool and rested her head on top of them as she watched Alicia and the girl flirt with each other.
Jesse raised an eyebrow at Paradise. "You alright?" Jesse asked hesitantly, not knowing how to handle girls emotions to well. He followed her gaze to Alicia and another girl he didn't recognize flirting together. He tilted his head and looked at to Paradise.
Paradise shook her head to clear her thoughts, she gave Jesse a smile, " I'm fine!" Paradise said as she swam away from him, a grin on her face as she dived down towards the bottom and sat there for a few moments.
Jesse looked around confused, he snorted and shook his head. He watched as she dove down into the water. After a second or two of her not coming up he looked up the water and saw her sitting on the bottom of the pool.
Paradise then pushed herself up, she knew she couldn't stay down there for any longer or she could scare everyone, so she had decided to push her self up, once she resurfaced she looked at Jesse, she tilted her head to the side and grinned softly at him, " You should come to New York next week, New York City is hosting a music festival," Paradise said with a smile, " I have a free ticket," Paradise added.
Jesse grinned, "Sure." He looked over his shoulder to Alicia, thinking Paradise would have invited her instead.
Paradise grinned widely, " Great, have you ever been to New York City before?" Paradise asked as she swam over to him so she floated in front of him.
Jesse nodded. "Yeah, I went last year." He said, watching as she swam over and treaded in front of him. He rested his elbows on the side of the pool so he could just hang in the water.
" How long did you stay?" Paradise asked him as she used one hand to run it through her hair.
