Robert Jones (rdjones) | 3 comments Hey Everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Robert Jones, I am new to Goodreads and a relatively new author. I study and write on classical history so this group looks like home to me.

For anyone interested, I have a book on learning latin available for free over the next few days. You can check it out on Amazon if you want.

Talk to you all soon,

Thanks for your interest Shawn,

I keep a blog at www.liberhistoriae.com and have a few books out through Amazon.

The book I am most proud of is called Mythology Unveiled and works through the meaning behind mythology, how it came about, what it means, the different styles of stories, why they were written and how they can be interpreted. It's easy to read and includes myths from all parts of the world. you can check it out here Mythology Unveiled: A Complete Guide From Greece To Egypt, From Creation to The World Beyond

Now I am writing a series called Greek Mythology Explained, these are shorter books that cover a single myth in detail. So far there are two available, one on Hercules, and the other on Demeter & Persephone. This is what I am focusing on at the moment, and I am about three-quarters of the way through writing about Hesiod's theogony.

And of course there is the Latin guide that I posted above.

Linda (lindamom) | 21 comments I don't check in Goodreads often enough so I missed the window for your free offer on Amazon. Too bad because I love Latin and studied it down to doing diagrams of sentences. we mostly used Julius Caesar's missives to Rome from his Gallic Campaign.
