once i had 3 fish... they were all the same kind... we bought them from a pet store... they said they would be ok in the same bowl and wouldent hurt eachother and were really easy to care for...WARNING, DEATH OF FISH (view spoiler)[ one killed the other 2 and then drowned in the filter (hide spoiler)]

My cousin had a bunch of goldfish once, but one of them ate all the rest, so now she just has one really messed up cannibal fish :)
