There are quite a number of travelling shows and events in OCS from waxworks to Punch and Judy. In addition, we have the grotesque Quilp. A good book to give a feeling of the time and the theatre of the abnormal in Victorian England is The Victorian Freak Show: The Significance of Disability and Physical Differences in 19th-Century Fiction.
