I'm about to read The Pearl and I'm planning on doing a wrap-up of the classics I've read after January. (I'm a pretty fast reader so I think I will manage it)

If you check my shelves, there are a lot of Christies there but I want to get into other classic authors.

Good luck with your A-Z challenge, it's great to see which authors you've picked for the trickier letters and get ideas for the future!

Nice list of books. I've read very few of your choices, but some are on my TBR also. I picked my X author this year the same way you did and ended up with a Chinese mystery novel. I liked it so that worked out for me. Good luck with your challenge!
