A plot bunny is a story that refuses to leave your head until it is written.

Therefore a plot bunny is your muse. Even if it is an annoying, selfish muse that messes up your house, you still love it! I already have a plot critter myself (It is a Gelatinous Mass of Living Glitter named Glitterfetti™ that is constantly growing until it will devour the world), but I had a few spares and decided to share them.

To claim a plot critter say it is yours. You get to keep it providing you give it a name and some backstory! :) Only one person can have any plot critter, and feel free to donate a few if the art mood strikes you! These will probably end up as a blog post as well mentioning your name, just fyi!

Our first critter in need of a home is this second place bunny. Once they are claimed, a new one will appear for adoption!

I have this Cat Fairy as well, but it was specifically requested by Nat, so it is locked to the public! Nat still needs to name and claim it.

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 443 comments I just wanted to say Hi to the cute bunny and hug the stuffing out of him. : D
Hi, C.B. and G.G. Hugs!!

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) D'awww! Bunnies! Man, I got too many plot bunnies already running around. I'm not sure I've got room for anymore.

Jane Jago | 1015 comments I call them brain worms. And they are the reason I cannot be considered sane by any measurement.

One woke me up at five am a couple days ago and it wouldn't shut up until I wrote the Christmas story on m'blog. Great. Peace now I thought. BUT. Another fat bas***d took its place.

However, I saw second place Bunny and I knew he was in a beauty contest and he only failed to win because AN Other Bunny screwed all of the judges. Second place bunny burns for vengeance. Cue the night of the sharpened carrot.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Jane, I like the way you think. :D

C.B., I'll take your plot bunny. Only cause all mine seem to have died! I haven't written a single word on a new story in almost a month and a half, and that's just plain weird to me!

The 2nd Place Bunny has been adopted by Riley!
Hooray! :D

Let me know when you have their backstory worked out! Put him on your coffee mug and get inspired!

Our next critter is a lovely Dapper Plot Whale. Hopefully they are inspiring!

Jane Jago | 1015 comments This dapper whale
Has a very happy tail
Because he's eating cheese
And garlicky snails

That is true, if you want it to be. If you claim the whale.

Jane Jago | 1015 comments I'd love to. But Dog says no.

He says my job is just to be the interpreter.

The whale poem is only half his story. The other half is just too rude to tell

My Cat Fairy plot bunny!!!!!!!!!!!!! CB, you are too kind.

I, obviously, claim this plot bunny. It is the plot bunny, err fairy kitty, of my own heart.

This is Mephyr. He has been in the Cirque du Chat for years as an understudy to the trapeze. He never quite got the sailing through the air thing. Then a trickster kitty named Mogg, showed up and cast a spell on Mephyr and gave him wings!

At first, Mephyr was ostracized and chased about. Mogg laughed at the havoc he cast. The other kitties tried to kick him out of the circus because they thought the visiting kitties would laugh and call him names and not come to the circus anymore. The kitties would get no more tuna!

But, the other kitties actually liked the strange winged fairy kitty in the trapeze and the tuna entrance fee came in by the truckload!

Mephyr went to thank Mogg, who had a egotistical smirk on his face, but soon the smirk vanished when Mephyr pounced Mogg and gave him lots of kitty kisses.

So... that's the backstory, now comes the hot steamy....
