The biggest difference between Jacob as 23 and Jacob as 93?

I really didn't see the difference between them, besides the age. Jacob at 93 was still dreaming of going BACK to the circus and in fact does. I think at 23 he went to be curious and find out about it.

Not much difference in the Jacob of twenty and ninety-three, except the way of seeing things, because a man in his old age never see things the same way as a young man just entering adulthood. In old age one can be even ironic or bitter because he has nothing to lose. I think that would be a small difference: Jacob ninety-three years is a little more bitter and sarcastic that Jacob twenty-three years.

i would say that 23 year old Jacob is more shy and in control of his emotions while 93 year old Jacob speaks his mind and certainly isn't slow to throw out remarks.

Marlena is gone.... He is a completely different person. He may like the same things, but he is no where near the same.
