So which of the books main characters did you find LEAST believable? For me it was Millie. Whether accurate or not, I tend to picture someone with Down's Syndrome as being trusting and guileless. It's difficult for me to imagine her being sly enough to say she loves Jack but hates 'Jorj Koony', let alone faking insomnia to gather and hoard sleeping pills. What do you think?

I have met high functioning Down's syndrome people who I believe could be that discerning, but the author didn't draw Millie as that sort. The two characters that really irritated me were in the Bangkok hotel "KIKO" (What? A Japanese name for a Thai maid, try Tub Tim if you really can't be bothered to do your homework author) and Mr. Ho (Chinese name for a Thai hotel keeper??). Truly there are Chinese-Thais but they don't have Chinese names in the last 100 years! The author chose Thailand as a setting and did little to no research!
