They should have. I love the books so much. And oh man Demitri. I just cannot get enough of that sexy Russian.
I have no clue maybe we should research this. I think part of the problem was the lack of advertising for it and the trailers they did release for it made it seem stupid.

They truly did not advertise Beautiful Creatures enough. It was like one weekend I saw the trailer the next it was in theaters. I enjoyed it. I didn't love it but I enjoyed it.

I have read all of the vampire academy books and enjoyed them...my only issue was that it took three books for a relationship to break through between Rose and Dimitri only to have it ripped apart again...
I loved all of the Vampire Academy books. I think we all knew deep down the relationship was there which is why it may have taken three books. The moment he calls her Rosa rather than Rose you know there are feelings there. There was no denying that. I did dislike that they were torn apart and of course it took forever for them to kind of like get to the end of the book and be together in the last one. I was scream at the book that they were being stupid. Of course after finishing Bloodlines I wish she would go back to the Vampire Academy World and expand upon some things that were left open-ended.
You must go read them! They aren't really as fast paced as Vampire Academy but I still think they are a great read especially once you get to like book four or five. I cannot remember.

I want to nag now. Because the rumor that has been running around is that she is going back to Rose and Demetri since the bomb that was dropped at the end of the last book of Bloodlines. It was a big bomb. HUGE!!! I was not prepared for it however, I squealed like a little girl when I read it.
