Well, the plot thickens. ENT just sent me an email to say they are featuring my freebie book in 3 days, which happens to be the last day of the countdown on the sequels. Good thing I checked my email in time to schedule the free day (and I had a free day to spare) lol. I was not expecting this at all!
I've been following a couple threads on pros and cons of Kindle Select and I think today makes a good case for a benefit of being enrolled. Without Select, there is no way I could have done the price match thing in time to get this ENT promo since I only knew 3 days in advance. I think Select also helps the countdowns to pack a bigger punch.

That is such a cool idea!!!!!! I"m going to have to try something like this. =-)

Hi Briana!
I scheduled a free promotion for the first book of the series for Sunday only and scheduled the other five books for a Kindle countdown to also begin Sunday and run through Thursday.
In the past, my results with ENT have been somewhat minimal but I think it's because they featured my book in the young adult category. This time they are featuring it as historical fiction so I'm hoping for a bigger turnout (more subscribers). I'm really happy with the countdown so far! I recommend booking features with as many promotions sites as possible for the best results :).

Aw, thank you, Amie!!
Annie, I am so grateful for your shares and support!
Today is Day 4 of the promotion and still going strong. Tomorrow will be the last day of the Big Sale, and I'm planning on it going out with a bang :).

p.s. today is the last day of the promo and it is going awesome!

Thank you, Nat!
Thank you, Kay!
Thank you, Jane!
Thank you, Justin!
Well the author rank was short-lived haha, but awesome while it lasted :)
Over the 5-day promotion, my books managed to see 700 sales and 10 new reviews ♥ Thank you, everyone, for your encouragement and well wishes!

By the way, are you on Twitter as an author? There are a few Marie Silk peeps on Twitter but I was gonna follow ya.

Thank you, Ember!
Thank you, Amie! I don't have a Twitter account, but one of these days I should probably get one. I'm just...scared lol. I don't know much about how Twitter works. I do have a Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... I've used Facebook for 7 years so I feel like I somewhat know what's going on there :D.

I hope everyone is surviving the week okay :) I wanted to share the news that this book review blog called Lil Book Lovers featured me for its 100th post! You can check out my author interview and Rafflecopter giveaway with them HERE
Pssst...this blog has been great for book reviews and author interviews! You can follow them on Faceook here https://www.facebook.com/lilbooklovers/ and maybe even get interviewed or a book review :)
I hope everyone is having a good Taco Tuesday!

Hey waffles and bacon sound pretty good too :D and thank you soooo much for the review, Amie ♥

That's a unique, but viable taco.
Awesome! 100 reviews must have taken a bit of work. Unless they're organic. In that case even awesomer!

I pursued roughly 25 of these reviews through bloggers and volunteer reviewers (that was a bit of work lol) and I think two or three reviews came from Goodreads giveaways. The rest are organic :).
Way to go, Marie! That is truly wonderful.
