I Dare You...

to read a book with multiple points of view. This can be between two seperate characters, three seperate characters, or more. If you need any help finding a book that has multiple points of view please do not hesitate to ask.

I'm going to do this... And I think I already started without knowing. City of Bones has more than one point of view. Clary, Jace, Simon, Hodge, etc.

Falling Kingdoms has Multiple POV. The Crown's Game (The BOTM) has Multiple POV.

What is Falling Kingdoms about? Is it good?

It's been so long go since I've read the City of Bones series, but I really enjoyed them. I know they're mixed reviews on the series...but I thought they were pretty good.

I did not read the synopsis. I am going into this one completely blind. I need a good challenge. I bought it because my husband read the synopsis and said I'd read it.

I think it's the best way to go into a book sometimes.

Totally agree! I went into Falling Kingdoms blind. In the end, I loved it!

message 10: by R.J. (new)

R.J. Abell | 682 comments I've never tried that before...A lot of times I can figure out the ending of a book...maybe that'd help with that?

Sometimes I let my husband read the back of a book that I would Cover Buy and he'll tell me if I would read it or not.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Omg. Great system. I do that for my husband. Lol.

I think it is. I mean there are some that I do read the synopsis and I end up enjoying them and buy them.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I sometimes do that too. Lol.

I also seemed to have already completed this challenge. But not with City of Bones! I forgot Rainbow Boys (Rainbow Trilogy, #1) by Alex Sanchez also has multiple POV. Lol.

lol, yay, Leela has completed this dare. Once I finish The Crown's Game...I will have finished this dare as well. It's told from Multiples. You've got points from both enchanters, the princess, and the prince....and I think that's it if I remember correctly.

message 18: by R.J. (new)

R.J. Abell | 682 comments I read some more of the second book today...I had to cut myself off because I had things to work on.

I've been trying to get things done on my blog again. Trying to bring some life back to it.

R.J. Abell | 682 comments Aw, I wish you the best ;). Yeah I love to read as much as I love to write...sometimes the two war with each other.

Well I'm going to start with posting only on Tuesdays and Thursdays and go from there and if it goes well I'll thrown in Saturdays as well. So for this month I'm just going to do the two days a week.

message 22: by R.J. (new)

R.J. Abell | 682 comments That's a good start to getting back into the game!

I posted today and then I went ahead and did Thursday's post since I have already finished a book for the year. So I think I'm off to a nice start.

I hope it stays that way. I get a few months into the year and then kind of let it fall off the map you know.

I couldn't get back into Throne of Glass... I can't stand Celina (that's her name isn't it? I forgot if it was Celina or Celine.)

But I wanted delete my book blog AGAIN and try to restart it and keep up with it AGAIN! I like have to get my butt kicked and encouraged to do this!!!! I used to do a book review every tuesday, a movie review every thursday and then random fandom talks in between but I stopped trying to keep up on it. I might redo it again and try to do something different.

I am just going with a post only on Tuesday and Thursday for a little while. Maybe just try doing two post for a while and if you can keep up with those then move to doing three post.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Might go on ahead and do that. I was enjoying it as I was doing it. Lol. I'll have to make up a new one.

Yes her name is Celaena. I received the first one from my secret santa and enjoyed it so I bought the rest of the books....someone told me stuff that will happen and I'm so sad about it....especially since my ship doesn't happen (promise won't say who) :( I'm making myself finish because I've already bought it.

Good luck! Lol. I think I gave up after the beginning of book 2. I just couldn't do it anymore.

I am going to get to it maybe next week. I will do not have any books by the author of the week but I'll read Replica and that seems like I might finish it quickly. So I'll finish that book next week as well.

message 32: by Wendy (new)

Wendy (wmaresca) For this dare I am using Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms, #1) by Morgan Rhodes it had quite a few POV'S

finished 1/3/17

message 33: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (booktasticnerd87) | 4512 comments Mod
I'm planning to finish Falling Kingdoms today. I think it's got four different POVs. I am enjoying it just last night I didn't get much reading done but I know I can get 200ish pages read today. I just have to sit down and be determined enough. And since we will not be leaving the house today because of all the ice on the roads and things I shall be getting it done.

message 34: by Wendy (new)

Wendy (wmaresca) I also read Never Seduce a Scot (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #1) by Maya Banks which had 2 pov's

I saw this book recently. I thought about picking it up but decided against it because it just didn't seem like a me book but I love the cover. Plus how could I resist checking out a title that is "How to Seduce a Scot"?

It was good. I use to love to read the historical romance, more into YA and Contemporary romance. I t was nice for a change of pace.

If I go into the Dollar General near my munchkin's school again for snacks then I may pick it up. It would be a change of pace for me.
