Marie Silk wrote: "Yes! Great costumes and looks like fun :)"Thanks! It was a lot of fun, even if I didn't sell quite as many books as I wanted. I did meet some cool other artists in the booths around me.
Hey--quick favor: If anyone has read my novellas (Tuning the Symphony and Merchants and Maji) and wants to leave a review on Amazon, that would be awesome. I'm at 9 reviews on each, and a lot of the book promo services require at least 10 reviews to submit.
I've started a Thunderclap, if you all want to help get the word out for my upcoming kickstarter!

Hi all,I'm doing a test for Prime day, and I figured I would report out afterwards. I set Tuning the Symphony to be free July 11th, and didn't do any promotion except for AskDavid. I'm interested to see what results I get, and if Prime Day will automatically direct people to reduced or free books.
I'll let you know the results!
Reporting out, for anyone interested. I gave away 52 books, from advertising only with AskDavid and a few twitter posts. This is the second time this book has been free. May have also been helped by a review posted in Publisher's Weekly! Woohoo!

The Seeds of Dissolution Kickstarter is at 53% in less than a week! Tell your friends!https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
Thanks Lyra! I'll be wearing the brown coat costume to DragonCon in another week or so. That one's a little closer to you...
Update on the Kickstarter:Up to 65%, and picked as a "Project We Love" by the staff! I'm only $40 away from $2000, so if anyone knows someone who wants to back a cool fantasy space opera with a Bi/Pan MC and music-based magic, please let them know!

D. wrote: "I follow Rage Kitten Cosplay. She was at a con in LA recently. Fun stuff!"Cool--looks like she's at PAX west this year instead of DragonCon. Those two are always at the same time, so I can never get to both!
Another Kickstarter update--almost to 80%! So close!https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...
Also, I have buttons!

Arm Flail!!!The Kickstarter for Seeds of Dissolution is funded, with 5 days left! It's been a long road to get here, but this means the books will come out with most of the art already paid for. Now I'm hoping to hit some stretch goals!
I'll be at SparkCon this weekend, on the last day of the Kickstarter, so I'm hoping to get a bump in funding the last day.

110% cool.
Actually, deduct 10% coolness, because the link to your project isn't complete in message 74. Gah!

I got the chance to work with a friend of mine who also owns a media production company. It was lots of fun, and they did a great job creating the atmosphere, filming, and editing the video.
Coming up for air from writing two novellas at ones! Those two novellas are now part of a new kickstarter, half funded already!Take a look!

This Kickstarter is going really well! 85% funded in the first week, and more cool art coming in. I thought I'd share a piece with you all:
This is the sketch for the second novella cover--this one's a Jules Verne-inspired adventure vs. the one above, which is a Sherlock Holmes-style murder mystery.
