If you need a break from reading and you want to chat feel free to come right here and we'll be sure to also chat back. Please take time out to go to the bathroom or eat we tend to forget to do those things when we get into a really good book. Or if you get into a bit of a slump come and chat with other readers it may help you out with your slump.

I have not read anything yet. I am planning to read some this evening after I get the kids to bed.

I am still reading and looking for other books on goodreads. I have been a potato all day. And I'm almost done with one of the books I picked out for this readathon!

I've kind of been a potato... I missed some shows this week and was catching up on them.

That's always a good idea! I did that last week! I finished Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins ! Which was 339. So that plus the 97 I read today makes 436 pages for the readathon!

YaY. I'm reading one of my short books. I'm going to probably read something bigger towards the end of the week.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm reading today since it's my last day off before I am forced to slow down!

I'm going to read a lot on Sunday I think. I will read Monday during pre-admittance for Wednesday Surgery. Tuesday I've got to spend it getting my house ready for company for Thursday for Thanksgiving. Ugh, all of the things going on in my life right now. lol

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I am sorry! I have to be at my dads house for thanksgiving then going out shopping with my sister. Nothing too busy.

Well the plan was actually my mother in laws house for Thanksgiving but with the surgery on Wednesday it was apparently more convenient to move it to our place.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

That sounds way more convenient than going anywhere else!

It does and so now I'm cleaning like a mad woman for company to be able to come over. Cleaning the guest bathroom that my boys use that smell like boys.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol. Boys will be boys. Lol.

So Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout was 358 and Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon was 306. And I had read 436 prior to the last books. So I have read 1100 pages for this readathon and still going! I just picked up This Savage Song (Monsters of Verity, #1) by Victoria Schwab !

Soooooooo good!

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

have not read since thanksgiving and I'm behind on my readathon goal by two. I wonder how fast I can read in these next few days.

I decided not to set a goal because of my surgery. I slept a lot on Wednesday after the surgery and then Thursday I was half way with the living. Friday and Saturday I did a lot of sleeping. Then today I have done more sleeping. My pain pills make me sleepy.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm glad the surgery went well, Andrea!

I'm glad it went well also. I do know that by the time I got to the OR I was tired that I feel asleep pretty quickly before they even could put me under. Getting up really early in the morning takes a toll on you when you can't sleep.
