Centers on the adventures of a mother and her two adult daughters, both of whom unknowingly are their family's next generation of witches, who lead seemingly quiet, uneventful modern day lives in Long Island's secluded seaside town of North Hampton. When one of the daughters becomes engaged to a young, wealthy newcomer, a series of events forces her mother to admit to her daughters they are, in fact, powerful and immortal witches.

This show was much better than the books. It's a shame it got cancelled, especially since they created new questions in the finale episode. Who does that?!

I know I watched the final episode of the second season and I was like what the hell I want to know what the hell is going on and then there was like oh we canceled it and I was like but but but there are so many questions still to be answered.

I was so mad when they cancelled this! I loved the show, I did read one of the books or maybe two.

I own all three but I hate that they canceled this as well. I think there was the potential to be an amazingly awesome show. I don't think that it was given enough time or it just wasn't on the right channel.

Why put a show like that on Lifetime?

Not enough audience. I thought it was well done properly would have done better on CW

[Andrea]

I think the CW would have been the better choice.
