Louise, I feel terrible you didn't see it, but I DID pick for you!! I think there was just confusion as I didn't make it a separate post. I wrote it in my original post the day the pairings came out...sorry if you didn't see it!! (I wrote: I pick Kate Daniels (and if she wants a second series, Black Dagger Brotherhood). This is only my second month participating and last month is seemed as if most people just responded this way--I will make sure to include my picks in a separate post in the future. I finished one book from each series.

Filmed to Death -- I don't often write reviews, but I did for this one.
I struggled with the rating. I guess 2.5 stars. I like this series; I wanted to like this book. However, the author brought in a character, Stephen, for no other reason than for the regular characters to express their superiority I guess. See this review for a much better description that I can write I felt uncomfortable reading this. It was like watching a 1980's high-school bully movie, except that the characters you used to like are suddenly the bullies. The librarian gang's treatment of this new co-worker was horrible and completely undeserved, making me lose respect for these characters (and the author too I think) that I have enjoyed reading about for 11 books. Furthermore, this was filler. This character served no purpose. He wasn't part of mystery. This may be the end of the Jamie Brodie series for me. I hope the author reads reviews. I am not the only reviewer to note how distasteful the part of the book was.

Keenan 3 stars This series continues to be interesting enough for me to continue with it, but I really can't read more than 2 per month. The books are just too similar.
