Ellen | 3522 comments Getting old is not easy but getting old and beginning to lose one's memory is heartbreaking. This story deals with a grandfather who is fully aware that his mind is becoming dimmer and he clings to those remnants of his past which are still crystal clear. The love he had for his late wife will never leave him although he still sees her and carries on tender conversations with her. The love he has for his precious grandson Noah is what sustains the grandfather as well as their shared passion for mathematics. He knows that in time all of this will be lost and he wants Noah to remember it all for the both of them.

This is a touching novella that can be easily read in an hour or so but it will stay will the reader for years to come. Highly recommended.
