New Member Saying Hello from the West Coast

Hi, everyone. Hello from the West Coast of the US.

Though I've been an avid reader since early childhood, I've recently found myself in a rut, unable to find anything in my usual genres to grab me and keep me furiously turning pages. Then I happened to pick up Find Her by Lisa Gardner, and I've been on a binge of psychological thrillers ever since.

I have a sizable pile of thrillers to get through already, but I still feel compelled to search out more like Find Her: well-written, complex and interesting characters, possibly dark but ultimately uplifting. Recommendations welcome.

Looking forward to getting deep into the thriller genre. Thanks.

Welcome, Mal, from the coast of the Mississippi River. Have you tried Peter Abrahams?Peter Abrahams Based on your description, I think he is an author you would like.
