Added a book I'm writting but before I could claim, it got added to someone else with the same name, (or I think that's what happened)

Lyle, I've separated the book. You are Lyle^^Wilson where ^=space. That is how Goodreads differentiates between authors with the same name.

You will need at least an approximate date for publication before Goodreads will grant you author status.

To claim the book you need to click on the link towards the bottom of the author page - Is this you? Let us know.

I have now submitted 3 applications to join the Author Program, but they have not been approved yet. I've contacted Goodreads via the contact form too, but no response for an entire month.

Can I have the contact email address of Goodreads so that I can directly mail them? I have an approximate date for publication as well, but still no luck :(

Veronica, is your book (or books) listed on the author profile you are trying to claim? Does it (they) have an ISBN/ASIN, publication information, a cover, etc.?

Yes, my book is listed on the author profile I'm trying to claim.

It doesn't have an ISBN/ASIN or cover yet, but it does have publication information such as the publisher's name and expected date of publication.

Are covers and ISBN absolutely requisite for claiming an author profile here? I'm very new to this site, so I don't know much about it yet....
