Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
Easy read for Xmas :)

Hmm...I really want to read The Damned or Swamplandia! I'm not going to propose a book, but please believe me I looked around. There are a lot of classics set in some version of hell, but hell, I say hell with it

As always you can vote for up to two books including your own suggestion. Cheerio

Doodle's been up way past its bedtime and it looks like we're gonna read Palahniuk's Damned. It's about a dead 13 year old who works as a telemarketer in Hell (you're welcome).

Hi Lara,
I am new on Googreads Paris and am not quite sure how things work but I'd love to come to the next meeting provided it is not held too late. Where will it take place ?
I look forward to meeting Goodreads memebers.

I'm legit liking this book, actually. And Tania, I think he did like the Breakfast Club, just not the English Patient. I like how his description of hell is the kind of thing people whine about hyperbolically

i would like to join for the next meeting for the first time , do i have to register somewhere?
greetings

@Tania no, I was saying it loudly to you to shame Katja by publicly contradicting what she'd just said while simultaneously not acknowledging her?
Well I'm not American so you don't get to order me around and bully me and hector me and browbeat me and stuff

Book club family has spoken and chosen the next topic: it's Hell. Plain ol' hell. Not other people, as JPS or JH would say, just hell, you know, that place you hear about in mythological writings, the one place where you can't deny climate change is a real thing as it's really friggin hot.
Post your suggestions about hell and we'll make a doodle out of it.
