Lennon sighed and leaned back, closing her eyes.
An envelope was slid under the door.

Lucas I frown, seeing an evelope slid under the closed door. Getting up and walking over to pick it up. Then opening the door thinking someone might of dropped it and it just slid under before they could catch it. Frowning again when I don't see anyone looking for it. re-closing the door and walking back over to the bed trying to find a name on it to see who it was addressed to. But not finding one. "You expecting something?"

Lennon shook her head, "no, what is it?"

Inside was a neatly folded note that read "you need answers, meet me at the west edge of the park down town- Z"

Lucas read over the note 3 more times still frowning at it. And not answering her question quit yet. Trying to remember if their'd been anyone at the compound with a name that started with Z while he'd been there. Not recalling anyone.

After another full minute Lucas looked up at her. Asking "Was there anyone at the compound that had a name that started with a Z?"

Lucas had left her room before 5:30 so that he could make it to the park by 6. Knowing these things always seemed to happen around dusk. walking into the park and crossing to the west side of it. Looking around almost expecting someone to jump out at him.

Someone in a black hoodie was leaned against a tree, waiting.

Lennon tried to keep herself from worrying about Lucas.

Lucas saw a guy in a hoodie that he had pulled up over his head leaning against a tree a little ways away. Walking over saying when he got 20 feet away "you the guy that sent the note under the door?"

"Yeah, I have to admit, I sort of didn't expect you to show up." He said, pulling back the hood. It was Zeak, one of the people who had helped kidnap them both in the first place.

Lucas lifted an eyebrow just now recalling Zeak. To be perfectly honest he'd actually forgotten about the guy. "And why is that? You planning on trying to kidnap me again?"

Zeak rolled his eyes, "oh please, if I was planning on that do you think I would of come alone and unarmed? Do you want my help or not."

Lucas studied him for a moment, considering. It was true. He did need Zeak's help. But rather or not he could trust the guy was another thing. Finally asking "How do I know no one's with you and there not hiding out someplace around here?"

Zeak shrugged, "There is no way to know for sure, you'll just have to take my word for it. Though trust me, if anyone finds out about this I'll be killed quicker than you can say 'oh crap' "

Lucas leaned back against one of the tree's across from the one Zeak was leaning on. "Okay-- so what do you know?" wondering why the guy was even bothering to help him out if he knew that it could get him killed.

"I know that you must of removed the chip. Fatal mistake. The chip was equipt to have its own defense mechanism. If you remove it, it releases an untraceable poison." Zeak sighs, "once it enters the bloodstream it messes with the nerve system. First there will be dizzyness and disorentation. Then sharp pains, then severe dehydration and uncontrollable thoughts of suicide. After that comes vomiting blood, but most don't make it past the last stage I mentioned."

"So how do we stop it?"

"There's only one antidote and it's under lock and key in the boss' s office at the compound."

Lucas didn't understand why he was telling him all of this. Unless he wanted him to break in and steal it for her. But the how and the why weren't making much sense. Asking. "Why are you telling me all of this?"

Lucas watched him carefully. Debating if he could really trust this guy. Or if he was just setting him up to go down and get caught again. Finally saying "Fine... tell me what I need to do."

"well for starters I know security is going to be high because of your little breakout there. if you even try to go in there alone, you'll get shot. But I can take you in and make it look like your my prisoner, once inside it should be a cake walk."

Zeak nodded, "okay, I'll see you then, kid." He pulled up the hood of his jacket again and began walking without another word.

Lucas watched Zeak walk away. Wondering how all of this was going to go over with Lee. Knowing she'd have a fit and think it was a horrable idea. And try and talk him out of it. He could already hear what she'd say as he started back to the hostaple.

Lucas was head up to her room to tell her about what went down, seeing one of the doctors coming down the hall. Only to have him tell him that visting hours were going to be over soon. Nodding he started back down the hall.
