I am trying to remember a book I read back in the early/mid '80s. It was a type of an interactive mystery (geared toward adults). It presented kind of like a police dossier of a crime. It had what looked like hand-written sections and bit's of evidence, like letters. You could take all these bits of "evidence" out and examine them. From what I can remember, it was in a style similar to an Agatha Christie novel. At the end of the book was a sealed section you had to break open to see if you were able to solve it. It was a cool concept and it drives me crazy that I can't remember what it was called.

I may be dreaming, but I would swear someone else posted about this, and I think it was solved. But it was months ago. I don't know how to search the posts, but maybe someone else will remember...Good luck!

Got it! I went back and looked through the posts a little more thoroughly and found it. It's called the Crime Dossier series by Robert Wheatley. Thank you!
Glad you found your books, Marc. Here's the link for the Crime Dossier series by Dennis Wheatley - https://www.goodreads.com/series/4413...
