WOW!!! Sheila... there should be an equivalent count there as that would represent several books. The author should be honored that you are reading their work. Surely this is a 4 or 5 book series. Man... I don't even know how to process that. @142 Mary Lou, Great Job!!!
@141 Lenora, you are moving right along.
@149 Teresa, no worries, you'll get under way soon enough.
I read over 550 pages today and have enjoyed comments from the author in response to mine after each chapter - love it when authors give us feedback.
12 A Battle of Wills: A Pride And Prejudice VariationI loved this story line and it not only showed mary in a better light but lady catherine as well

This is another that seems expensive for a relatively short (81 pages) book. How did you rate it, Lenora?

I rated this 4-4.5 stars
13 A Maiden's Honor: Elizabeth, Darcy, and Me: A Pride And Prejudice VariationThis was an appropriate ending to series. Each book was better than the one before it, and it was good to see Georgianna come i to her own

Yowza, Sheila! Setting a brisk pace, I see! (Even despite that very lengthy tome, which I assume was A Singular Proposition?)
14 Mr. Darcy's Good Opinion: A Pride and Prejudice Variation NovellaI liked this. The only thing i didn't like is the lenght to much going o i. A certain space of time
Sophia wrote: "Nicely done, Sheila!Wasn't the Best Part of Love fantastic? :)"
Yes, I have read it 3 times now!

Those novellas can be tricky for plot development. Glad you liked it, Lenora, even with all that was going on.

Debbie wrote: "Yowza, Sheila! Setting a brisk pace, I see! (Even despite that very lengthy tome, which I assume was A Singular Proposition?)"I paused in the reading of "Dance the Tide" (1000 pages) to read 3 KU books so I am now back to that book.
15 A Compromise At Rosings Park: A Pride And Prejudice VariationShort book but I liked it. I especially liked finding out Charlotte was stronger than always portrayed and did not let Lady Catherine rule her house
Nicole's 2017 Austenesque Lovers YTD Challenge Tracker:1. The Best Part of Love - Rated 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆
I was a little worried to start The Best Part of Love. I really wanted to love it, as the author is a highly-rated, beloved online fan fiction writer in the JAFF community (I tend to be a more critical reviewer and I genuinely did not want this to be all hype). As I am not keen on reading online, The Best Part of Love, as the author’s first published work, is my introduction to Amy D'Orazio.
And I was not disappointed! I thoroughly enjoyed this unique and imaginative variation.
I look forward to reading more from Amy and hope that she publishes more of her many other online stories.

Going to try for 101 this year, but totally dependant on my mood and time. My attention has been diverted recently with non-JAFF and my medically special needs son is having some issues and has a couple surgeries this year... we shall see...JAFF YTD: 5
Total YTD: 10

Cheering you on, Nicole! Life might happen and that's alright. All the best with your son.

Prayers that whatever is needed for your son will be available and that you, also, will have support in caring for him.
Nicole,I echo Sheila's sentiments. Hope the operations are available, are a success and that you both get through this period with help and support from family and friends. We're here should you wish to talk, rant or just take your mind off things for a while.

I finally finished reading Dance the Tide...over 2000 pages, as I said, on kindle so I took a break in the middle. This author has several other unpublished stories which I will read at some time but will be looking for a few shorter stories now. http://meryton.com/aha/index.php?show... Definitely MA and it is a modern take off of P&P.
Sheila, I take my had off to you. Wow! I am so impressed. Congratulations my friend. You should treat yourself to something special. You have earned it.

Have you read anything really good lately that you would recommend? I have been reading a few from KU as I like to get my monies worth and I am also waiting to see what some - pick -it - for - me selects from my list for February. I am not looking to start anything tonight as I just finished this long one.But one thing this author did is provide links to songs that Darcy was singing to Elizabeth or a band played or some such. Lovely music! Perfect words to fit the story.

This author has several other unpublished stories which I will read..."Yes, although I have to say that while sex scenes, if well written, have never been a negative with me and this author does write a very hot and descriptive love scene...towards the end I was skimming over some as it just got to be a few too many. She does have a very serious issue arise between Will and Elizabeth which provides a time of angst in the middle of the story. Collins and Wickham are cousins and W. uses the date rape drug in this story - you may want to slit his throat!!!!
I would rate it a 4 star book...it is not one I would reread as it is just too long. I will try to read her other stories as I said b/c she does write a good story.
17 No Cause to Repine: A Pride and Prejudice VariationA very good book. This is a reread and was just as good the second time around
Lenora wrote: "16 Two More Days at NetherfieldI loved this I wish she would publish."
Oh, I have wanted to start this one...how would you rate it? 4 or 5 stars?

I enjoyed this one also.
Neat that your re-read stayed a perfect 5 star. I love re-reading books I like, but sometimes if it's been awhile, I'm afraid that I won't like it as much.
Way to go on hitting number 17, Lenora.
