A good book with a good portrayal of Mr. Bennet to use as entrance to the esteemed Bennet Library (sometimes known as his bookroom)

I've been trying to write a review of this one -- liked the book overall but just couldn't like Darcy! I rated 5 stars but as I think about it, I want to lower that. Hate it when I don't like Darcy --- aaaaarrrgggghhhhh

Yes, he did hang onto his anger and resentment far longer than in canon. All in support of the title. I found it fascinating how it rose up and bit him time after time! Elizabeth then put him in his place with her innocent actions by befriending and charming his sister.

Not super impressed with this book has several stories in it with the longest is strange marriage.
