Jane Jago | 888 comments PULLING THE RUG

....a sideways look at life

Life isn't always bitter, but it isn't always sweet and it has an uncanny knack of biting your backside when you least expect it. This little collection of stories and verse is the author's response to the banana skins we all have to negotiate and to the unexpected bonuses that balance the scales

This is the blurb for a collection of stories and 'perverses' I aim to put out later this month.

Does it sound interesting?

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) I like it! I'm a huge fan of short blurbs that give an idea of what to expect without spelling everything out and this works for me.

Clint Forgy (clintforgy) | 39 comments I like it for the same reasons. And "perverses" may be my favorite word now.

That's a really cool blurb. It makes me want to buy it. And that's the most important thing. Creative, funny, mysterious... very cool. I liked the "perverses" word, and was truly charmed by "the banana skins we all have to negotiate." Genius.

Nathan Bush | 57 comments I think it's great, I would definitely pick it up just from reading the blurb.
