"Listening I can do," he said. It was hard to screw up at listening as long as you tried. It was sad that some people didn't have someone to listen to them though. Everyone needed someone.

“And you do it very well.” She replied, smiling a little before she looked back towards where they had come from. “Did you want to go rest again?”

"Yeah, but... Only if you're sick of me," Rowan said, essentially offering to stick around and listen if she wanted. Sure he was tired, but he was still a vampire. He could be tired later.

“I’m not sick of you.” She told him sincerely, smiling a little. “I already said I liked being with you, didn’t I? And this last conversation only made me like you more.”

He smiled a little, feeling slightly relieved she wasn't sick of him. It seemed like most people were nowadays. Plus all this was distracting him from thinking about the fight. "Then I don't think I want to go back yet." But then he nearly tried from dragging his feet as he was. He was with out, and surprisingly getting more so on this walk. But he meant it- he could just be tired later. Vampires didn't need all that rest.

“We should, though. You’re looking really tired and I should get to bed too.” She replied, smiling a little as she started to turn around to walk back.

He sighed, but had to concede. If she was exhausting herself too there was no reason to stay out. "Alright, we can go back. Next time it will be a longer walk though. Mostly because I won't be so bruised."

“Will you promise me that?” She asked teasingly, leaning her shoulder against his. She had liked his fight earlier, yes, but she hadn’t enjoyed him getting just as beat up.

"Yeah, I promise," he said, smiling a little. Somehow, it wasn't so hard to promise that. He enjoyed her company, even though he was exhausted. It felt a lot like it did with Raelynn, actually. It was easy to just be around them. "Do you want me to walk you to your room? We've got to be closer to it than mine by now."

"No, it's fine. I'll drop you off at yours." She said, shrugging a shoulder because he didn't have to be worried about that.

"Alright if you want," he replied. He appreciated it too because he was oddly worn out. He had been before, but somehow this was a different exhaustion. He probably just needed sleep.

Janelle only smiled and leaned closer to his side, feeling so alive- so much more than she had in many years. Sure, it sucked to see him this tired but a girl had to do what a girl had to do.

Anastasia took the longer route to her dorm, walking slowly as she thought over all she said that night and wondered if perhaps she'd gone too far. She didn't think he'd talk- he was too much of a coward for that- but what if he said something that would truly ruin her chances with anyone else? Sure, she didn't want anyone other than a certain green haired vampire, but she still wasn't even sure of what she'd do with him yet. Her comment about sleeping with him had only been to make Robert angry- a bluff. She wasn't a fool. She knew that the moment they crossed the line they'd been toying with and finally kissed, there would be no one else. Which was exactly what she didn't want to happen... again.

Bolt was leaning against the wall beside her door with a styrofoam box in hand. He was just waiting for her, as evidenced by the little smile he gave when she arrived. "Took the long way here, did you?" he asked, already knowing she hadn't gone off with Robert that whole time. If she had, he would be surprised. It wasn't like he imagined how agitated she was with Robert after he made them leave. What she had been doing instead, he wasn't quite clear on, but it didn't matter to him very much.

Anastasia stopped on her tracks when she heard him, a little startled because she hadn't been paying enough attention to realize he'd been standing by her door. "I had a lot in my mind tonight." Anastasia replied easily, obviously not about to tell  him what it was. "I didn't know my room was on the way to yours." She teased, arms crossed as she went to stand in front of him. "Or are you here to see Wednesday? Because I'll have you know she's not allowed visitors this late at night."

Bolt chuckled a little. "No, I'm here for you," he said and held up the tray. "I figured you'd need a pick-me-up after that disaster of a dessert course. So I brought you spaghetti." He'd noticed her eyeing up the spaghetti despite her not ordering it and he wondered if there was a reason for that. Even if she was trying a diet, she deserved a cheat meal today.

Anastasia was a little amused- at least until he held up the tray and she could smell the spaghetti before he even told her what it was. "How did you-?" She started asking, looking a little confused as she looked back up at him. But she didn't really have to ask, did she? Not when it was obvious. "You noticed I was looking at Robert's."

"It wasn't very subtle," Bolt teased. Really though, nobody else would notice it- only him. As to whether he would have cared if it were anyone but her, also definitely not. "It smells good, so I can't blame you." He didn't say anything about what else he'd observed over the course of the dinner. None of it really mattered and he didn't want to think about it. The plan may have been a partial failure, but he'd still had fun. He wasn't sure if she'd say the same, was all.

"I didn't want to make a mess when I ate it." She told him, waiting longer than she should have before she reached over to take the bag. She didn't ​​​​​​pull her hand back, though. "No one else noticed."

"I understand. Can't keep up a perfect image by slurping noodles," he said, smiling a little. He shrugged a shoulder. "Noticing things is my deal. You're welcome."

Anastasia studied him for a moment before she placed the bag on the floor besides her door and pulled him down by the collar of his shirt for a kiss. She kissed him because she’d been holding back for what felt like ages and couldn’t fathom going longer without doing it. Kissed him, because that smile and spark in his eyes let her know he wanted her to. Kissed him because, even if she knew there would be consequences once her mother found out, the desire to have him was stronger than the desire to please her the woman that had given her birth and did her part in raising her. The very woman that, if she were being honest, knew less of her than the boy in front of her did.

Despite having been trying to get to this point for a good while, Bolt hadn't expected Anastasia to finally cave in and kiss him the way she was now. Even when he'd teased her about waiting until her desire for him was at an all time high, he was unprepared to actually have her pull him down and press her lips to his. Still, he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her as he kissed her back. He took it all in stride, not wanting to push her into anything she didn't want. Not when he wanted them to think back on this moment and regret absolutely nothing about it.

Anastsia couldn't bring herself to pull away, even when she felt her heart beating so hard against her chest that it felt like it would pop right out. All she wanted was to feel his lips moving against hers- to run her fingers through those green locks of his like she'd always wanted to. So she did, kissing him until she had to pull her lips from his. But even then she didn't go very far, because she only opened her door, making sure no one was inside, before taking his hand and pulling him into the room with her. To do what, she wasn't too sure. All she knew was that now that she finally had him, there was no limit to what they’d-

"Ana?" Bolt asked, amused because her scent had changed abruptly. She even seemed zoned out and hadn't reacted to what he last said. Unless this was the reaction. It was...funny.

"I'm sorry." Anastasia said, physically and mentally shaking herself before she finally took the bag from him and opened her dorm room door. She didn't know what had just happened, but she did know it meant nothing. Both because it didn't actually occur, and because neither one of them would be ready for those consequences. Yet imagining it... it hadn't been at all unpleasant. "Thank you- for the spaghetti, and for just... noticing I wanted it, I guess."

"You're welcome. Enjoy it," Bolt said, though he really wished she would tell him what she'd been daydreaming about. That would be more interesting to know.

"I'll try to." Anastasia replied, giving him another smile before she stepped into her room. Only when she was about to close the door, she couldn't help but to peek her head out again. "Bolt?"

Bolt had just turned to go, since he figured she was going to close up in her room now, but stopped and looked at her. "Yeah?" He asked, smiling a little but not in a way that he knew would make her however teasingly push him away.

"I just wanted to tell you that I was right- you don't have to worry about finding another school partner. Robert is leaving tomorrow, and he won't be enrolling next year. " Anastasia told him before he could try guessing what it was. She didn't want to say much else, because she knew what he'd think it meant, but she couldn't help herself. "He has no reason to stay now that I've officially broken things off with him."

Bolt smiled a little more, unable to help it. "Good to know," he said, not even trying to tease her about it. He was that pleased, and thought they'd both been through enough that night.

"I hoped it would be." Anastasia replied, giving him another smile before she started closing her door again. This time with the actual intent of ending their conversation. "Good night, Bolt. I'll see you around."

"Goodnight Ana," Bolt said, smiling at her. This time he lingered there for a while until he was sure she wasn't going to stop him again. He hoped, but it was a small chance and that was fine.

Blaze was asleep earlier than intended, having nodded off while trying to get ahead on his homework. He'd already been bored so the extra boring article had been the last straw. Not that he realize it until he woke to the frantic knocking at his dorm door. Shaking off the sleep, he went to answer it before his roommate woke up from the sound.

"Have you seen Bolt?" Anastasia asked immediately after the door opened, somehow knowing that Blaze would be the one to open. Well, that or forgetting there was more than one person to each room.

Blaze blinked, needing a second to recognize Anastasia when she looked more disheveled than he thought she ever could. "No, I haven't seen him since class," he said, mind slowly realizing that something must have happened if she was looking for him. "Did something happen to him?"

Anastasia couldn't help her disappointment when Blaze answered, covering her face with her hands for a moment before nodding. She didn't want to tell him, but what choice did she have? Thankfully, she wasn't alone.

"Bolt is looking for Harley so that he could... beat him up? Fight him?" Mavis said, looking a little confused because she wasn't sure of what word applied for this. "We were hoping he had come to either you or Rowan and that he wasn't alone, but if he didn't... we might need your help."

Blaze frowned a little, letting that sink in. His twin wasn't violent. "Why would he..." he started, not sure how to ask this question. Clearly they had to have a reason why, he just needed to know how concerned he had to be.

"We'll tell you later but we have to find Bolt right now," Anastasia said, since the last thing she needed was to explain. "Rowan's dorm is down the hall, right?" She asked, already starting towards it.

"Yeah, I know where it is," Blaze said, as if he wouldn't. He started in that direction and passed her in just a few strides. If they had to go save Bolt from himself, he would definitely need the help. He reached the door first and started knocking, but knew from experience that Rowan was a heavy sleeper. Or at least, lazy at getting up. He knocked again, and on the third try, nearly fell into his brother who finally opened the door. Blaze gave the brief rundown of information he knew, which was basically that Bolt was probably in a fight and they needed to get him, and Rowan turned to Anastasia who was catching up.

"Do you have any idea where he might be?" he asked, catching on to Blaze's panic a little. Like Blaze, Rowan knew that Bolt had never been very violent so who knew what he would do if he were going looking for it.

"I-I don't know," Anastasia replied, hands in the pocket of her sweater- one she realized just now was one of those Bolt had outgrown years ago- as she shifted from foot to foot. "I just know that he's been trying to figure out who had...figured out what happened-"

"You're just going to delay finding him if you keep looking for ways to lie," Mavis said, looking apologetic as she and Marcie arrived, then turned to the guys. "He doesn't know it's Harley that he's looking for, but he'll likely figure it out soon and immediately go out looking to find him."

"Well do you know where Harley could be? Because if we're going on nothing, the chances of us finding him on time are...nothing," Rowan said, clear headed for once. He hadn't been asleep, but that didn't necessarily mean that he would have the brain power for this anyway.

"I already tried the gyms but he wasn't there. Or at least he wasn't for long." Marcie said, arms around herself. "Bolt went by asking for him already. About half an hour ago."

Anastasia looked at her for a moment before she looked back at Rowan and Blaze. "Harley is somewhere with alcohol and girls." She said, sure of that. Harley was likely in a bad mental place right now, and would want to do the exact opposite of what he'd been doing so far. Which likely meant alcohol and girls, as she'd said. "So either a party or the club. But I think the club isn't open today, so... a party. There are three going on right now, but the one that started the latest was the... one near the woods."

Rowan nodded. "I got an invite for that one. I know where it is," he said. They could try there first and hope for the best, working their way closer to the school if they didn't find him there. Three parties was reasonable, much more focused than the entire school or town area. If Bolt was hunting, he wasn't going to be wasting time, so they couldn't either. Rowan tapped Blaze's arm to make sure they were on the same page, and in a blink they were gone.

Anastasia opened her mouth, about to suggest they split up and met up somewhere in the middle, before they were suddenly... gone. She blinked, for some reason not understanding at first, before it finally registered and she looked at them girls with a confused expression. "They just... left?" She asked, even as Mavis let out a curse as she tried fixing her hair that had been disheveled from when the guys both ran out. But she didn't wait for an answer before she started running down the hall. Someday soon, she'd have a talk with them about just leaving them
