Emily - welcome to the challenge. We will help you through.
I joined midway through a challenge and found it really helpful during my first season to just read my books as usual & get a feeling for what was happening here. If something I was reading fitted a challenge, I would post in the completed thread/claim the points but without stressing about trying to finish the whole challenge. By the second challenge I understood what was going on & was raring to go with a colour coded spreadsheet and a long list of books to fit prompts!
I think the other thing is to say up front is that most people do NOT finish the challenge completely, and that's ok. It's about reading & stretching your boundaries. Some people aim to earn as many points as possible, others focus just on getting all of the 5pt & 10pt tasks for instance. You do it however works for you!

Our challenges run Mar-May, Jun-Aug, Sep-Nov & Dec-Feb

I've just joined this group because I'm looking for a group specifically geared towards reading challenges. I've noticed that knowing that the books I read go towards a challenge not only motivates me to read more, but has also helped me to broaden my horizons.

I'd like to use the readerboard name Fantasia, please and thank you.

At this point, I'm interested in starting off with the Summer Challenge starting June 1st, as it's much too late for the Spring one, ha ha!
