Camille (camillesbookishadventures) This is our winner for the April 2018 poll. Time to get your copies ready!

Bryan--The Bee’s Knees (theindefatigablebertmcguinn) Well, once again, I'm gone from home for the next month when I find out the poll winner. I'll be home the last 10 days of April--I will try to fit it in then. I've been looking forward to trying Winterson--I've not read anything by her before. My wife wasn't too impressed with Written on the Body, but we don't always share the same tastes.

Debra Diggs I have the book already. But it will probably be the last half of April before I start reading. This is my first Winterson too.

Wend (wends) | 99 comments Read the Passion last month, quite liked it. I was going to skip this month's read, don't have the book and it's a little expensive for kindle in UK. The title I remember from way back as being much discussed, so intrigue has won the day. Hoping to read over the weekend.

Wend (wends) | 99 comments It's a great read, humorous. Recommend.

A thought to mods, took me a while to work out where the book discussions were. For other groups I belong to it's more obvious. We may get more interaction if it's easier to find where the discussions are? I'm not the most vocal of members, love reading, my reviewing skills are very limited, would love to see more discussions.

I am glad you enjoyed it, Wend.

Debra Diggs I like this new Book of the Month folder area.

Wend, glad to know it is a good book. It will be late this month before I read it.

Thanks to the mods. This month's choice is a fairly short enjoyable read with humour. Hoping several of us have the book and contribute to the conversations.

Here is a BBC podcast on the book the author - I don't know if it's available outside the UK, I hope so!

Debra Diggs Read chapter 1 today. Not sure what to make of this book yet. It is a bit humorous and a bit odd.

Debra Diggs About halfway through the Joshua chapter. Mostly, really enjoying this book. But the Deuteronomy chapter was weird. Good thing that chapter was super short.

Debra Diggs Finished.

Good book. I was surprised at how much humor was in it.

I am waiting for my library copy(on hold) and look forward to reading it after reading your comments.

Bryan--The Bee’s Knees (theindefatigablebertmcguinn) Just got onto this one today--I like it quite a bit after chapter 1. It's short, so I might actually get all my April reading commitments done in April!
