Constantine frowned, looking over her shoulder and at the book. "I thought you sold books, not lent them out." He said, confused. He understood if she sold it off and forgot, really... but lending it out was a completely different thing.

"Why would I sell my collection," Tahlia said. "Then anyone could have this kind of information."
At this point someone already had the book.

"It doesn't say when you lent it?" He asked, carefully taking it away from her but not touching the ink.

There was the faintest memory of handing it to someone but she couldn't remember a face.

"I might take you up on that offer. But I think I can make a call first," Tahlia said, thinking of Soren and his family.

She went over to the shelf where the book should have been and picked up another.

This one was still rather thick. It was slightly worn, as it was when she had procured it. "This one should have what you're looking for. It's just missing things like Doppelgängers and Necromancy or anything involving opening the gates to hell.
"Not that you'd have use for any of those things, right?" Tahlia asked, holding the book back.

Constantine almost commented that he had no intention in opening the gates to hell or any of the above, because from his past experiences, they were no fun. "I promise not to do anything that might get me or anyone killed." He replied.

Tahlia smirked slightly before handing him the book. "Come sign the notebook."

Constantine rolled his eyes but was grinning as he went over to where she was, so that he could sign this... book.

With a golden pen, she wrote out the title of the book and the date.
"Sign your life away," she said, handing him the pen.

Constantine took the pen from her and wrote his name besides the date and title of the book.

The ink flashed a golden color before fading back to black.

"You're all set. You can keep it as long as you like," she said, moving towards the door.

Constantine looked at it before he followed her. "Who else is allowed back here without supervision?"

"No one," Tahlia commented. "No one else can get in without me. Not even Enzo."

Constantine nodded slowly, rubbing his forehead a littoe because this was confusing. The only way to know was if she somehow regained her memory, but that was a tricky process.

"I have an idea but I can handle it on my own. If I need you then I suppose I could call," Tahlia said.

She walked out and waited for him to leave the room before knocking on the molding of the doorway.

He looked at the door as it closed before shaking his head. "No, I dont. But if I don't answer, just leave a note in my class or something. Just don't have it be within this week." He said, since he planned on having his experiment done this week.

Constantine straightened his jacket before heading to the door, but paused before he actually got out. "Oh, one more thing."

Tahlia was surrounded by piles of books. She was opening to the table of contents or the index before flipping to a particular page. Her eyes would read over the words quickly before she shut the book and moved onto the next one.
She had to have a boo that would explain what was going on with Damon. She had seen him.
In her room.
And he was there, but not there. There had to be a way. And she intended to find it in one of these books.

There was a knock on the door a few times, and finally a woman with a bow in her hair walked in shyly, pressing her hands to her chest. "Oh, I'm sorry, I guess it's a bad time to come in, huh?" Madison blushed a bit. "I'm sorry, I'll just come back tomorrow," She started to head for the door.

They came to a spot that had a little cake sign made out of metal hanging from the shelf. "These are the cook books. You may check them out or purchase the ones that are marked."
