Finishing Strong Read-a-thon

Hello everybody, it's Anna! I wanted to give everybody a heads-up that there is going to be a read-a-thon soon! The Finishing Strong Read-a-thon will be from December 29-January 3. We're trying to finish the year off strong, and start the new one off stronger! Everyone will start at the same time, and you can watch the countdown clock to know when to start! Feel free to use this thread to talk about what books you might read, or anything else read-a-thon related you want to discuss! There are going to be games, along with a point system for you to use if you want! Feel free to ask any questions in the question thread!

I'm so in! I haven't been active on this group lately because I was keeping a lot of my focus on my Bookstagram so this is a perfect opportunity to do something fun with all you amazing people!

Pages/Point System:
450+ = 5pt
300+ = 4pt
200+ = 3pt
100+ = 2pt
Under 100 = 1pt

Sequel = 4 pt
First in Series = 3 pt
Standalone = 2 pt
Novellas/Manga = 1 pt

Completed Mad Lib=10 pt
Bompleted Bingo = Between 5 and 10 pt

I LOVE the countdown!!! I get SO excited the closer we get to it! I feel like a kid waiting go open presents at Christmas. LOL

I'm SOO excited! I love readathons and this one ends the day before second semester starts so the timing is perfect! I can't wait until this semester ends so I can start planning which books I'm going to read.

I'm with you Jasmine! I go back January 5 for teacher prep days. We have a block schedule so I'll have new students. I start all over with my rules, syllabus, teaching MLA etc. But I love planning books for the new year too!!

absolutely, Rachel! You can read for as much time as you are able! and stop in and say hi, claim points and play any/all games!
