We're watching it for the first time - not sure if it was the same big thing in the UK as it was in the US.

Bea wrote: "Would you accept a variation of the word in option 3? Song lyrics = "flowers", Title = The Flower Master (singular)" Will edit the task for this to accept this this is approved :)
Cathy wrote: "Is the job of receptionist (#42) close enough to secretary?"
Absolutely :)

sorry Bea yes this is accepted :)
Sorry I thought I replied in it :)

I am reading Sweep in Peace about an innkeeper/owner, who basically does all the jobs including receptionist, of a Texas B&B.
Is that an acceptable match for #42?

Corralled "As a sports therapist" I thought could work with 47. Physical therapist (Season 6, Episode 1)

Would this book work? Tressed to Kill"
Approved

2. for Job #53 Starts a company called Yummy Bartenders: would you take any main character that starts their own company? Or does it have to specifically one with bartenders?

Karen Michele wrote: "The story The Snows of Kilimanjaro is on the Rory Gilmore list but too short on its own. Could I read The Snows of Kilimanjaro and Other Stories for Option 1?"

See post 11 - since "secretary" works for receptionist, I think "administrative assistant" is fine.
Yes, if a main character starts their own business, that is fine.

Brooke wrote: "I have a related question about #53 Starts a company called Yummy Bartenders: does it have to be a character who starts their own business, or can it be a character who is a bartender?"
I think the key factor here is starting a business, not working as a bartender.

Even Cat Sitters Get the Blues
In this book she will tend to dogs as well as cats. She has one client for whom she walks his dog daily. This is a recurring character in the book. Will this be acceptable?

Marie wrote: "Hi I am reading a book called Moving one of the characters works for an estate agent can that be considered same as realtor in Kirks odd jobs" that can count :)
approved :)

16. Spy for Taylor (Season 3, Episode 3)

the novels of John le Carré
the novels of Alan Furst
the Mrs. Pollifax novels by Dorothy Gilman
Mata Hari's Last Dance by Michelle Moran
Dangerous Deceptions by Sarah Zettel
Thanks!

Is this cover clearly enough showing her drinking a cuop of coffee (in front of her)

Thanks in advance :)

Since the list says "spy," you can use any book in which the main character is described as a spy.

yes, the cup appears to be a coffee cup. Since it's hard to see, please be sure to note in your completed task post that it was approved here.
Also, I noticed that you linked to 2 different editions. When you post, you need to link to the actual edition that you read.

Choose two options from the 4 listed below and read 1 book for each option. REQUIRED: State in your post the options you chose.
The total page count for both books MUST be at least 500 pages.
NOTE: ebooks without print versions cannot be used for tasks requiring a specific number of pages. If you read an ebook or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
2016 marks the return of beloved television series Gilmore Girls. So this task will center around this fact.
Option 1: Rory's reading list
Rory was known for always carrying a book in the earlier seasons so read a book off of the listopia for Rory's reading list.
The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge Complete List.

Option 2: Please, Luke. Please, please, please!
This line both opened the pilot episode and as the opening voice over in the recent remake. This was said between main characters Lorelai and Luke about getting a cup of coffee.
For this option read a book with a cup of coffee or coffee beans on the cover. REQUIRED: Include the cover in your post.
Examples:
Option 3: Where you lead
Carole King's song "Where you lead" was known for being the theme song for the series. For this option read a book with at least a 4 letter word from the song within the title/subtitle. Where You Lead lyrics Plural/singular versions of the words work, no other variations.
REQUIRED: Specify the song word in your post.
Option 4: Running gag

For this option choose a job from Kirk's Odd Jobs list and
