SOLVED. Scifi - Female lead goes into a hypersleep and wakes in the future. [s]

Very similar in beginning plot to Thomas DePrima's Galaxy Uknown.

Female lead is in the military and is under arrest for something she didn't do. "Escapes" due to bad guys and gets stuck in an escape pod right as they come under attack, pod is disabled and she goes into a hypersleep only to be awakened years later by a transport vessel. The entire political makeup of the known universe is changed but due to her military password she can help the transport vessel get repaired by her complete access to a replicating machine. At one point she repairs a military space/jet that she gets to keep as her own.

I believe I read it with the last 2 years via Amazon kindle.
