1. Looking at the cover, you will see that the name on the bus — that is to say, its destination — is “Further.” You have to read the book to find out it was actually spelled “Furthur” and that they, like, did this on purpose. Comment on the cover.

I love the cover. It is very representative of the time and circumstances, with the Day-Glo painted bus and the tie-dyed look. The distortions in the bus and the lettering suggest an acid-trip.

I have the much less lurid black swan version which is purple and clue concentric circles that look kind of spacey

It suggest an acid trip. I really did not think all the colors and day glo and clown like outfits was very appealing. I really don't get the whole movement. The sign Furthur represents the "trip" with acid will take you futher than you've ever gone before and also was a band formed in 2009 by former Grateful Dead.
