Separated and left a librarian note. However I can't guarantee that another librarian won't recombine them, just because of the titles.
Sandra wrote: "Separated and left a librarian note. However I can't guarantee that another librarian won't recombine them, just because of the titles."I understand, I will change the tittle of the oldest one :) Thanks!
That still may not stop it happening as the original title will still be here on Goodreads. We don't remove books, we're like a library.
Well I don't read (or speak) the language, but I could tell the difference in the character names. Story is about different people. It really needs someone who can read the blurbs.
I removed Autoedición from the title of the old edition, because it does not appear on the cover and as far as I know, means something like "self-published". That does not belong in the title field. Also, this is the old description:
And this the new:
The only things changed are the names. That is what GR calls a revised edition, and both the old and the new editions should be combined IMO.
(If it is not a revised edition but a completely new book, why give it the exact same title?)

The descriptions are the same, indeed, but the story itself has changed a lot -even though the premise has not, the idea is the same but the storyline changes- so I thought it was better to separate them. The only thing I did mantain was the tittle.
Also, the oldest one was a self-published work (currrently not avalaible) and the new one is being published by an Spanish publishing house. I consider them to be different enough to treat them as two different and individual books. If the problem is the description, I can change it in order to avoid confusions.
I don't know if I'd explained it well, but I would really appreciate if both books remain separate as they are now :)
I think that according to Goodreads policy they should be combined. The description is not the problem, it just makes clear it is a revised edition and not a whole new book. The new edition can be made the default, and have 'revised edition' added. But I'll leave it for Rivka to decide :)

Although the tittle is similar (the oldest one being "Seré frágil (Autoedición)" and the newest "Seré frágil"), the content of the books is different.
Thanks!
