The narrator, Jack McEvoy, is a reporter, not law enforcement. Did you have to make adjustments for this change in voice?

[Robin]

This story certainly felt different to me. I think Jack attacked the investigation from a different angle. He is putting the information together in his mind to write a story.

[Jonetta]

I certainly had to remind myself he was a reporter without cop instincts. There were many occasions where Jack seemed gullible and a detective would have picked up on the situation a lot quicker. On the other hand, that sometimes served his investigation very well. This definitely had a different vibe.

[Lauren]

I agree that is had a different feel to it. Because he was an outsider, he had to be more manipulative in order to stay involved in the investigation.
