Keelan, or Kee as she likes to be called, is a very soft-spoken person. She loves books and reading, and her imagination is always working overtime. Kee does her best to be kind to others, as that’s what she would want - she’s a firm believer in “treat others as you want to be treated”. She’s very friendly, and tries to be friends with everyone, from any House. Kee hates confrontation, and would be useless in a duel (because she would spend the whole time trying to get the two sides to talk it over). However, if it came down to a real life-or-death situation, or she really believed in the cause, Kee could fight. Keelan is full of wonder and whimsy, and is a dreamer at heart.
Keelan never expected to be a witch. Actually, she never expected to be adopted at all, least of all by the family she got. Kee was the youngest child of a completely Muggle family at birth. She hardly remembers them, though, as they all died in a car crash when she was two. Kee was shipped off to an orphanage then, and she doesn’t remember much of that, either. She was adopted at the age of three, her and another girl called Cassandra, who was just her age. It was far from a charmed life, but it was a family life, and that was enough for Kee. Besides, she was three. It wasn’t like she could argue. Keelan and Cassandra, who Kee’s always called Cass because when she was little she couldn’t pronounce the whole thing, became very close throughout the years, as though they were really sisters. Kee likes to joke that Cass is her twin lost in the cosmos, because they may as well be twins. Kee’s Hogwarts letter wasn’t really a surprise. She’d been showing accidental magic since she was nine, and was really quite relieved to get the letter from the wizarding school. She can’t wait to see where her life will take her. She’s sure it will be amazing.

▸ History:Born to a Veela mother and a Metamorphagi father; Cassandra was the third and last born of the Dominic wizard family. Cassandra's mother died of a werewolf wound the month after Cassandra was born, and her father died of a explosion when she was four months old. Her brothers were taken into their aunts home and was never heard from again, although some say one of Cassandra's brothers ran away from home in search for his younger sister; Cassandra was thrown into an wizarding orphanage by the same very aunt that took in her brothers. Cassandra never thought that she would be adopted, she always thought as a young three year old girl, that she would be left to die in the Orphanage, but all that stopped when Remus Lupin and Sirius Black came in and adopted her and another girl named Keelan, she couldn't pronounce the girl's name so she called her Lan as they grew up. She and Lan became very close as she grew up, they like to joke and say they are long lost twins, Cassandra even morphs her face to look like Lan sometimes to throw people off and to confuse their fathers. Keelan was bouncing. Literally, bouncing, on her tiptoes, a grin on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. Could she be blamed? She was about to go to Hogwarts! To learn magic! The eleven-year-old was very excited indeed. She turned to her sister, Cassandra, still grinning. "Are you ready for this?"
Cassandra wasn't showing any emotions, she hardly ever did, which made it hard for some people to believe her when she spoke to them, " Yeah, of course I am, I can't believe we're going to Hogwarts!" Cassandra said nonchalantly. Cassandra tried to show emotions, but she mentally and physically couldn't.
Kee bounced some more, stopping herself when the small group, the girls and their dads, approached the barrier, the wall separating the normal platform from the magical one. Her heart pounded in her chest, and Kee took a deep breath. "So we just run through it?"
Remus gave a grin, " Yes, but relax, if you get too worked up you'll run right into the wall," Remus said as he placed a hand on Keelan's shoulder. Cassandra glanced up at Remus and then at her other dad, " Is it crowded?" Cassandra asked Sirius.
Sirius nodded, leaning down a little to better talk to the two girls. "It'll be a little crowded. Just stick with us, okay?" He smiled at them, then straightened. "Okay! I think Cassandra should go first, what do you say, Remus?"Secretly, Kee was glad he hadn't said she should go first. She was willing to try, but she wanted to make sure Cass got through okay first.
Remus nodded, " Go on dear, just run right through, remember to relax," Remus said as he looked down at Cassandra, Cassandra nodded and she gripped her cart a little tighter and took a deep breath, no one would know, but Cassandra was afraid, she relaxed a little before running towards the wall, pushing her cart with her, she closed her eyes before she "hit" the wall and opened them when she heard a lot of noises and voices. Remus grinned as he watched Cassandra, deep down he knew Cassandra was scared, he watched her disappear, " Now your turn dear," Remus said to Keelan.
Kee nodded, still trying to calm her nerves. She knew the best way to do it was just go for it, it was what her parents had been telling her for years. So she made sure she had a good grip on the cart and began to run. Keelan didn't close her eyes. She kept them open, seeing the oddness of seemingly running through a wall, then the wonder of the bright red train engine and the busy platform. She pulled to a stop next to Cass, her mouth open in wonder.
Remus chuckled, " I'll never get bored of watching kids run through this wall," Remus said to Sirius as he grabbed Sirius's hand and pulled him towards the wall. Cassandra was in awe, this was the only emotion she could ever show, she looked at Keelan, " Isn't this amazing?" Cassandra asked, she looked at the train and then looked at the many wizards and witches walking around the platform.
"It sure is entertaining," Sirius agreed as the two slipped through the barrier. The girls where still standing where they had stopped, both looking awed.Kee nodded in response to her sister, her blue eyes as wide as saucers. "Is it all like this?" she whispered.
Remus walked up to his daughters and smiled, " Well sorta dear," Remus answered as he put his hands on his daughters shoulders, he looked at Cassandra, Cassandra looked up at Remus, " I'm fine dad, I promise," Cassandra said, she then looked at her other dad, " I thought you talked to dad about my issue," Cassandra mouthed.
Kee grinned up at him. "I can't wait!" she said, bouncing once more. "Should we get on now? We don't have much time, do we?"Sirius mockingly widened his eyes. "What?" he mouthed back, smiling. He had, of course, he just liked - no, loved - to tease.
