Roger Cave | 70 comments Hi all

I'm hoping that someone on here can steer me in the right direction.

Due to some events this year I've not been writing much or advertising my books, which has meant I've also been away from Goodreads for a while.

So, I've justvreturned, to find all the reviews for my books have vanished? It's no real biggy, as there weren't hundreds, but just wondering if anyone knew why that happens?

Janice Richardson | 13 comments Hi Roger, That is odd. Goodreads is connected to Amazon. No reviews there either. Amazon has cracked down on reviews, but to lose all of them? Contact a librarian on Goodreads and customer support at Amazon. Good luck, hope you are able to resolve the situation

Dwayne Fry | 349 comments Open up your individual books and scroll down. There are reviews and ratings. Why do they not show up at the top? Why does your profile say zero reviews and zero ratings? I have found that some of my reviews and ratings are hidden. Most are fly-by one star reviews. One has to dig to find them. Now, if you have not had a sale in a while and have not been active on Goodreads, it's possible that all of your reviews are dropping from the top due to a perceived lack of interest on your part and due to not having a review in some time. I didn't look at all the dates, but the few I looked at seemed to have been there a while. Many were just ratings with no reviews. Goodreads doesn't seem to place much value in those.

These are just speculations. As Janice said, it might be helpful to check with a librarian.

Cathy Kennedy | 65 comments Hey Roger,

Goodreads definitely wants you to tell them about this. I had the opposite problem where my reviews were showing up twice; spooling, if you will. And all the "marked as" at the bottom kept getting all skewed, in no apparent pattern, disappearing and reappearing at random. I let it go for a while, but when I contacted Goodreads, they were obviously very pleased that I reported it to them. With the size of their site, it's not unrealistic to think that things like this can happen sometimes.

It was fixed the next day and I've had no problems since. I'm not sure if I contacted a librarian or not, as others have suggested. I went to "help" and read through the choices and eventually ended up at the "do you still have an issue?", or something like that, and reported it that way.

They will fix it and they will thank you for telling them about it.

:)
