Once Upon A Time and Jasmine

They came into the room. She was scared kinda of. Her heart was beating really fast. She didn't say anything. She took a deep breath.
When he backed away she looked at him confused. "Ok I won't." Her eyes were still glazed.

"She's ready," Alec said to the doctors, nodding in their direction, "Her fear of needles has seemed to remain, so just be careful with it."
He looked at Aaliyah again, thinking that he had to let her brother free if it was the last thing he did. The problem? There was no way he could survive on his own, and Alec didn't know who to let out with him. Maybe he wouldn't be able to do that much for the girl after all.

After that they put the health com. Her eyes opened they were a perfect blue. Her eyes closed as they put the power source in her. She laid there a few minuets then they erased all of her humans memories. They put her on a hospital bed.
She opened her eyes looking around. "Where am I? Who am I?" She said. She didn't saw people looking at her. "Who are you?" She asked the doctors.
"She's ready for you sir." The doctor said.

He shook his head, astounded by the clarity of her blue eyes when she widened them. She was the same girl yet with each shot the doctors gave her she slowly changed into someone else. Someone who looked like Aaliyah but wasn't her.
He nodded to the doctors when the process was complete and moved closer to Aaliyah, smiling down at her. "Hi, my name is Alec. I know you must be very confused right now, but if you come with me I'll explain everything." Alec held out his hand, inviting her to take it.

She felt different. "Do you know who am I?" Her blue eyes looked at him. She heard cried coming. "Humans." She hissed. Her face turned completely different killer mode. "Aren't we going to change them?"
((Sorry about it being so short))

"Calm down there sparky," Alec replied with a laugh, once again leading her to the lobby area. "Everyone will be changed in time. It's a process, okay?"
He sat down on a chair, inviting Aaliyah to do the same, and looked at her. "Your name is Aaliyah. Right now we're in the government building. Official business gets taken care of here, as well as transformations obviously, hence the holding cells. You do know me, but when you underwent transformation you forgot a few things. I'm going to stay with you and help make sure that the transformation goes smoothly. If you have any questions feel free to ask me." Alec flashed her a smile, but it was slightly forced. Already he missed the human girl who refused to go down without a fight.

"This place is amazing."She said. She looked at him. "That's a pretty name." She said to her name. She looked at him. "Your helping me that's awfully nice." She said with a smile showing him how she was happy. She smiled some again. "I feel better." She looked around still. She was a different person she wasn't the same. "What is my special ablitliy?" She asked.

He smiled again as she kept rambling on, her head seemingly filled with questions and ideas. "I don't know what your special ability is. You have to figure that out on your own. Within a few weeks the government officials will meet with you to discuss your ability and determine how you will best help society, but it's up to you to figure out what it is."
It was shocking for Alex to see how someone who had been so strong-willed could completely crumble after the transformation. All humans he had caught before were weak willed and easy victims, but Aaliyah had been different, and a small part of home had hoped that she would be different after the change as well.

She opened the locket. She saw a picture of a little boy. Her face froze at the picture. She didn't want to move around some more. "Alec who's this?" She asked. She was numb all over. "Jason." She whispered. The transformation worked but the picture triggered something. She was so confused.
"Who's Jason?" She asked. She felt dizzy and light headed. "Alec something is wrong?" She asked.

"It's nothing," he said, hastily unclasping the necklace and letting the chain pool in his hand. "Just a remnant of a very unpretty past. You really shouldn't worry about it." Even still, as he spoke he could see as she grew more and more confused. He could only guess that past images were resurfacing and clashing with the world she was trying to process now.
"Something is very wrong," Alec agreed grimly, wrapping his fingers around her bicep, much like he had done before, and pulling her up, only this time more gently. "Come on. We need to get out of here."

"Where are we going?" She asked. "Are we going to figure out the past?" She asked. She was different than others. She was determine and powerful. As she grew more aware she started to get a little angry. It started to rain and thunder. It never did this before. Perfects get everything right. She was setting this off. She can controls things easily.
She looked at him. "Alec what's happening?" She asked.

He stopped when he noticed the weather, his brow furrowing in worry. "This isn't normal...Aaliyah you need to get your emotions under control and calm down. Please," he said, turning to look at her.

She looked up at the sky. "I'm not controlling the weather that's not possible." She said. The storm grew bigger because she was upset.

Alec looked up at the sky, which was now cluttered with dark grey clouds. It seemed that the more upset she got the worse the storm got. "You are controlling the storm," he sighed, "I don't know how, but you are."
He ran a hand through his brown hair and held out his hand for Aaliyah to take, no longer insisting upon grabbing her by her bicep. "Let's go, and please calm down. If anyone notices that the weather is tied to you...well I don't know what would happen, and quite frankly I don't want to find out."

She looked up at him. "So we don't get sick or sneeze?" She asked changing the subject. She looked down. She looked up at him. "I had to sneeze." She was pacing around quickly. She didn't say anything again. "I'm worried now."
She looked around. "Ok." She said knowing it would be bad if she got caught.

Alec looked sideways at her as they walked, instantly regretting the fact that he told her she would no longer get sick. "Uh, sometimes we still get sick. We just don't get really sick to the point where it will kill us," he explained, not looking at her as he talked.
It took everything in him to avoid going down the familiar road that led to his parents house. It was the place he had been staying for the past couple of weeks due to his moms insistent begging and pleading for him to return. He'd have to call them when he got back to let them know he'd be staying at his place tonight. "We're almost there."

She looked at him and nodded again. She was still trying to take in everything. "So it would be okay for me to sneeze?" She asked holding a sneeze in. She was cold yet. The rain was cold. "Why doesn't it stop raining?" She asked. She wasn't upset or anything. She didn't control things or did she. So far it seemed she controlled the weather. Was there more to she ability . She wonder if they would kill her for it. They probably would want her to use if for good. After all perfects were helping the humans. She could be a powerful weapon of the government could control her. "I have this sneeze that I need to let out." She didn't want to break any laws by sneezing.
She looked at the busy people. She tired to stay as close as to Alec as possible. She didn't want to get lost. That would be awful to get lost here. She didn't know anything or anybody. She took a deep breath and nodded. She was still speechless about how big and perfect everything was. She was glad when he said it wasn't much further until his house. He looked like he was thinking about something. She didn't want to interrupt his thoughts. She smiled knowing it was always good to smile.

Alec continued walking and brushing past perfects without a second glance, much to their dismay. Most perfects were polite and courteous to one another - it was in the code, and it wasn't in many perfects nature to stray from the code in any sense. Alec's sometimes blatant refusal to abide by the code had gotten him into several arguments with his father, and even in trouble with the government a few times. However, his transformation rate was rather high. They couldn't get rid of him when he was the one racking in the humans.
"We're here," Alec announced, the relief that he felt evident in the tone of his voice. He pulled a key out of his pocket and fit it into the door, unlocking it and pushing it open. That was another thing - most perfects didn't lock their doors. There was no crime among the perfects so there was no need to lock anything up. "Go right on inside and sit down."

She wonder about her strange new life. "Alec is something wrong with me? I mean everything seems different from something and I been getting these flashes of movie clips kinda of in my head." She whispered. "And the way you think and stare you know something is up with me?" She asked. She looked down. "And you don't want me to get into trouble." She paused and trailed off. "I don't want to get into trouble I want to be a perfect." She said. "It's so clam and peaceful" she said. She looked around. "I feel like I should give up. Who cares about that little boy anyways." She was falling under the gas that sends into their bodies if they do too much. Like over think or exert themselves.
She smiled slowly as the arrived feeling dizzy. "Alec I do think I can walk. I feel like I need to rest. The government is going to check on me and make me all better. So I can be a perfect." She said with a smile.

He took one last glance and her before walking into the kitchen where his phone was. He dialed the number to his parents house - knowing that his father wouldn't be home - and quickly explained to his mother that he had to stay at his apartment for the time being. "New perfect," he murmured hastily, wanting desperately to get back to Aaliyah and figure out what was going on. After a few more hushed words he hung up the phone and walked back into the living area.
"I have no doubt that you have a bunch of questions - assuming you've gotten over the effect of the gas. So if there's still any questions left in the brain that I know is in that body, let's hear them," he said, sinking down into a recliner.

She looked at him talking to his parents. How come she didn't any? How come she didn't have a family? These questions popped in her after awhile. She wasn't over the gas yet. She still was overthinking everything. She stopped talking now. She didn't feel like doing anything. She wanted to relax. Her smiled and did just that. She let her mind go blank. She wasn't thinking now. She couldn't form words to speak. She sighed some laying back. She smiled back at him. She wanted to close her eyes. She only know that they go to bed at ten. So she didn't want in trouble.
She didn't speak to answer what he had said. She just sat there staring off into space. She yawned as the gas made her tired. She closed her eyes he snapped them back open. She didn't know much but didn't want to get hurt.

Alec looked at her curiously, tempted to try out a long standing theory of his. While contact with humans brought them more under his control, contact with perfects generally heightened their attention and brought them back to clarity. "Aaliyah," he said slowly, "I'm going to try something, okay? And I need you not to freak out or anything."
He was silent for a moment, nervously chewing on his bottom lip. "It'll help so you won't feel so tired anymore. So we can talk, okay?"

She was soon falling asleep. She was losing contact with the real world. Her eyes closed. She didn't know what happened. She nodded her head. Her eyes were a little glaze from the gas.
((Hey sorry it's sooo short doing finals))

Alec cursed under his breath once he realized how far gone she was. He had no idea the gas could work to that extent. He frowned, his lips pursing and eyebrows furrowing as he did so. He never realized to what extent the government had control over the people. It was scary. He decided to take the risks of however she would respond - he had to bring her back to him.
Alec leaned over and kissed her softly, his lips brushing against hers. It was hesitant at first, but after a moment it grew more firm, although still keeping its gentleness. He pulled back and looked at her, hoping that she had been brought out of the trance the gas seemed to have put her in.

She looked around. "This doesn't feel right. I mean I like being a perfect but something's missing." She said. She looked at him with a sad look. "Can I have my locket?" She asked softly. "I want to know." She said. "Don't you want to know?"

He sighed as she brought up the locket and the little boy whose picture was inside it. "What do you remember?" he asked, "You said you got glimpses of things. Like movie clips. Those were glimpses of your past before you were changed. You're not supposed to remember anything, but for some reason, you do."

"I had a brother and my family was killed in the uprising but that's all." She said. "Did I not like you?" She asked.

It took him a moment to regain his sense, but once he did he was serious again. "You didn't like me at all. In fact, I'm almost certain that you hated me."

She didn't look up to answer him. She nodded her head slowly. "Ok." She whispered. That's all she could do. Flashes and memories came back faster than ever. You could tell she was remembering her past. You could tell this wasn't suppose to happen at all.
As quickly as the headache came it was gone. Her eyes looked up at him. "You." She said. She looked at him angrily. "You made me in this monster." She said. "You made my brother get caught." She was angry. "You kissed me." The weather changed quickly it started to thunder and lightning. The wind started to howl. She got up and slapped him. "I will never ever be one you because I'm not going to be a puppet"

Alec carefully watched her, unsure of what to expect. Would the sudden rush of memories make her tired, or would she possibly lash out at him? He nervously chewed on his lower lip, hating the fact that he didn't have any control over the situation. However, he knew that this was something he had to do, although he didn't quite know why. It just was.
As soon as she widened her eyes and looked at him, he knew it was game over. He looked down at the ground, suddenly feeling very ashamed. "Yes, me," he sighed softly, unable to look her in the eyes. He watched as the weather started to change and immediately started to worry again. "Do you know why I kissed you? I kissed you because gases were taking over your body and stopped you from thinking. I just helped you to remember your past. You know for a fact that I shouldn't have done that. Plea-" he abruptly stopped as she slapped him and he looked up at her in complete shock, his grey eyes wide. "I'm not making you my puppet!" he retorted angrily, quickly rising from his seat. "Now Aaliyah you need to get your powers under control. You're much too powerful, and the government does not like that at all."

It looked up at her. She stared into the humans eyes. She didn't want to take control but she felt the mind come into hers and she grabbed it. She felt power over this. She smiled evilly. She lashed onto. The humans eyes glazed over.
As all new perfects they are dangerous and like to control things and get power and would do anything to get it. For this she was still under the governments way. The storm stopped.

Alec gently placed his hand on her shoulder, watching as the humans eyes glazed over. "Aaliyah, don't do this. This isn't you. You're going to ruin that humans life and you know it. Please just stop."
He didn't know if his pleading would help or if what he was saying would even register to her. As a new perfect it was hard to listen to anything other than the small voice in your mind that told you your job was to change all the humans.

She took her hand and went to the government place. She didn't even know if Alec was falling her. She liked this feeling of control over the human. She was doing something right. This is what she was supposed to do.

Before they got to the government building Alec pulled them into the alley that he had found Aaliyah in just the night before. "Aaliyah," he said through gritted teeth, one hand grabbing her wrist, "you need to let the human go."
He had no idea how either Aaliyah or Calla react, and quite frankly he was a bit worried. He just knew that he couldn't let her do this because she wouldn't be able to live with herself. Perfects with too much of a human conscious were always a problem and always ended up being put down.

Instead she walked away with the human. Who followed her without knowing anything. She wouldn't let anyone stop her to get into the government building. She could feel all the minds of everyone and wanted to take them but she had a mission.
She walked in the building. "Her name is Calla." She said. They nodded and took her. She walked away with a smile on her face.

Alec sighed as he watched her walk into the government building and he waited outside, leaning against the pillar of a nearby building and waiting for her to exit the building. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, looking down at the ground. He couldn't believe what she had just done.
He looked up as she walked out and he walked up to her, his face impassive. "Feel proud?"

Shocked came into her face. She was going to cry. She let it pour that's how she felt. She looked down. "Alec." She asked. "Why can I do things?" She whispered. "Why did I enjoy myself by controlling things."

When it hit he couldn't help but feel bad and once again he looked at her sadly. Alec draped his arm over her shoulder and slowly began to walk, leading her back to his apartment. "I don't know why you can do things," he said softly, "you just can. You enjoyed yourself by controlling things because that's what all perfects do. You can't help it. Neither can I. None of us can."

She looked at the hot dog. She let the mind go. "See I can control anything and I love it a lot. And I liked taking the human in. I liked it." She whispered. "I want to hunt the humans till they are all gone." She said. "This isn't me talking." She looked at Alec. "I'm scared they are going to find out and what will they do?"

Alec took a hot dog without a word, but he didn't eat any of it. Instead he looked over at Aaliyah, a concerned expression on his face. "I don't know why you can do this, but it's not good. It explains why that human went with you so willingly though," he murmured, "You've been changed, so it's natural that you want to control humans. Everything else though..." He trailed off and shook his head, unsure of what he should even say.
He put his hand on her shoulder and gently started leading her back to his apartment. "I don't know what they'll do," he admitted, "but we probably don't want to know. You have to keep this hidden, Aaliyah."
((I'm really sorry for the delayed response. I haven't forgot about this, I just haven't had much time to get on and I like this rp too much to give a half-assed post haha))

She nodded her head some. "I don't think it's natural either most perfects have so less powers." She said. "How am I suppose to hide when they come to fine my place in society." She asked. She took a shakey breath. "Alec I have this feeling that they would either kill me or make me their weapon but they can control me and if they do who knows what I can do." She said.
She felt so many minds. "I need to get out of here. The mind reach out to me and I want to grab them." She said. Her voice was slowly soothing. She wanted to be under the control. This wasn't her the hotdog she ate had something it. Sometimes perfects out drugs in it to make more money. "Alec can I go have your hotdog?" She asked.
((That's fine I understand people are busy with finals and things))

"It's not natural," he murmured, thinking to himself. How would she be able to hide it? She wouldn't, that was the problem, and she was absolutely right. The government would either kill her or use her as a weapon. She had to leave. "There's nowhere for you to go," Alec said slowly, looking over at her. "Where could you possibly go?"
He looked over at her with an odd look at her request and shook his head, tossing his hotdog in the nearest trash can. "No, you cannot," he said simply. "A single hotdog stays in your stomach for a week. They're gross."

She took his mind. "You will do what I said." She looked at him. she wasn't using full effort to do this. She took a shaky breath. She wanted more. She needed more. She wasn't herself now. She wanted power. "Alec you will take me back to your place and we will go from there. You will carry me back."
She felt others mind crept in. She restrained a little bit. She was going expose herself. She didn't want to do this. She wanted to save her little brother but at the moment she forgot everything about him.

He looked at her with an utterly bemused expression on his face. Of all the people he had helped go through the change this had never happened. He didn't quite know how to handle the situation. "Don't do it, Aaliyah," Alec said urgently, "Please don't."
Judging by the look on her face he knew that he didn't stand a chance, and sure enough he felt as his control slipped away. Since she wasn't using her full effort he still had a small piece of him hidden somewhere in the back of his mind - some small remnant of his conscious, but it wasn't enough to fight against her power. "I will carry you back," Alec agreed in a monotone voice, moving to lift her.
A small part of him was screaming about how outrageous this was and how he would do nothing of the sort, but he couldn't make himself do any differently. He finally understood how humans felt when he controlled them and realized how incredibly horrible it was.

She looked up at him and smiled wickedly. She was loving this power. She wasn't herself at all. She relaxed in his arms. It was getting late for her to be out. When she was human they went to bed early because Perfects can see at night. So her body still was use to being able to go to bed early. As she fell asleep. He slipped out of her control. She didn't know what she did was wrong but it felt right so she did it.
She was dozing off in his arms. When she started to have nightmares. She squirmed a bit. She bit her lip to prevent screaming of it until she was set down. She didn't know where she was or what happen. All she knew was that she wanted sleep. She sighed some and snuggled some more into him.
((Sorry about it being so short super busy with homework))

Alec walked forward without even thinking about what it was that he was doing. All he could think about was mechanically putting one foot in front of the other. Even the small part of him that had earlier been attempting to put up a fight had fallen silent, reluctantly admitting defeat without a word. He felt himself gradually slip out of her control as she fell asleep and he sighed, feeling much better.
Alec looked down at her and shook his head, letting her stay cradled in his arms as he walked. The few perfects around hardly gave him a second glance and some even smiled at him - he didn't want to know what they thought they were seeing. When he arrived at his apartment door he awkwardly continued to hold her and open his door simultaneously. He miraculously managed to open the door without dropping her, and once inside he gently laid her down on his couch.
Alec closed the front door and then sank into the recliner he had been sitting in earlier that day, running a hand through his brown hair. This was quite the predicament he had gotten himself into.

She didn't know where she was. She opened her eyes slowly. She looked up at him. "Hi Alec." She whispered. She didn't find any minds anywhere. She was shaking some as she felt his mind. She widen her eyes. She looked around some more. She was nervous.
"Alec I can feel your mind and I want to grab it." She said. She looked at him. She wasn't herself quite yet. She wanted to use for her own. She needed to. "Alec help." She didn't want to do this. She felt different. "Alec I'm not suppose to do that aren't i?" She asked.

"You're not supposed to do that," he said with a yawn, not knowing how he was supposed to help her, "Not at all. You need to learn how to control it."
Alec looked over at her, his expression a mixture of curiosity and concern. "How bad is the urge?"
In the room there was a grey surgery table and a tray with the few things necessary for enabling the change. To any normal human the lighting would have been fine, but for perfects the light was harsh and much too bright. The doctors weren't yet there and Alec figured he had a couple minutes before they arrived.
He lifted his hand off of her and looked down, "Don't scream, don't run, don't try anything," he advised her in a low voice, hoping she had snapped out of his control like last time.
