I seem to say this often, but it is amazing how fast time flies! This year is no exception. I was looking at my Goodreads challenge and it hit me that in just a few days I need to pick a new number of books to read for next year. What books from this past year has made your top picks for 2016? Were there any that you wanted to read but will have to wait until next year? This doesn't have to encompass classics, feel free to talk about any books that caught your fancy during the last year.

His extraordinary ability to render the accents of everyone from a white South African policeman to speakers of different African languages, men, women, people of different classes--his linguistic intelligence is amazing and makes the audiobook a stunning experience. I learned so much: information and wisdom both.
