Both title and subtitle are acceptable, as long as the subtitle is part of the Goodreads page title entry, as is the case with The Orchid Thief. So that book I can approve. Mods are updating the task wording to include subtitles.

I'm not seeing that reflected in the main page description, which seems to me to imply it takes place mostly on the Moon colony itself, and not having read it (yeah i know, bad sci-fi fan) I don't think I can approve it.

Please confirm Grimspace for space travel. It's not so clear in the description, but the reviews mention that it is set in space and aboard spaceships. Thanks.

I'm thinking that I might try 11/22/63 for time travel. I've been wanting to read it for awhile. However, it is such a BIG book...:( That is the reason I haven't read it yet.
Just a suggestion for Marie - if you hate sci fi, why not try something non-fiction? I was going to go with Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier (assuming that works, I suppose I should check). I'm thinking that a lot of the books about NASA and the space program would work for this option?

Rendezvous with Rama and 2001: A Space Odyssey are two famous sci-fi books which would fit the space travel option.Also Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers for those who loved the TV series.
Time's Arrow - I was thinking of this one but I'm not sure if it fits. The protagonist dies at the start of the book but then starts living his life backwards.

The description makes it sound like time travel, but digging into the reviews I find what's really happening is Amis telling the story of the guy's life simultaneously forwards from youth and backwards from death in intercutting timelines, not that the guy himself is actually shifting in time.
Could you look at The Restaurant at the End of the Universe for me please? They bounce from planet to planet but there's also time travel involved. At one point, they are propelled way into the future and, at another point, they go backward in time. One reviewer mentions that Arthur tries to teach Scrabble to cavemen.

(OMG the ordering tea scene!)

Time travel is mentioned in the description, and the MC must travel into the past through a novel to find a missing book character.

Would this work? The Evolutionary Void I believe it is 50% space travel and 50% on the planet (I have already read the first two books in the series).

2016 continues to be brutal with the reaping of distinguished artists. In November, in one week, we lost two influential singer/songwriters with 40-plus year careers: Leonard Cohen and Leon Russell.
This is a two-book task. Read one book from each of the following options.
Book 1. Leonard Cohen's best-known and much-covered composition, made famous by the use of John Cale's version in Shrek, is Hallelujah. There's a striking line in the second verse: "Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you."
Read a book with one of these words in the title/subtitle: Beauty, Moonlight, Moon, or Light. Words must match exactly - no variations.
Book 2. Leon Russell's best-known and much-covered composition, made famous by the Carpenters' version, is called A Song for You. It has a line in it that tends to get stuck in people's heads: "I love you in a place where there's no space or time."
Read a book about space travel (set at least 50% on a spaceship or involving the mechanics of space travel) or time travel. The space travel element or the time travel element must show on the book's GR main page, either in the summary or the main page genre listings.
