All- I can half-understand why he did what he did in originally saying that, but it doesn't have to do with you at all. I was explaining to Hallie that the kindness she showed as a friend might have played a role, in fact. The way you reacted is totally understandable, and I'm not blaming you in the slightest, but I can kinda get why this ended up where it did.
