That is the most relatable statement I have heard this whole year!
Oh yeah, the rant that I came here for - my parents want to go to their hometown again. For the sixth fucking time this year.
Like, we used to go once in six years. No, we're not supposed to be going six times in one year.
My brother was already pissed when Mum suggested it, and I clearly told her a hundred times that I'm not stepping foot there for a while.
So they're like, "You know what, we're going to be controlling hypocrites who won't let you be independent or do anything, but we're going tell you to be your age when it's convenient for us, and then annoy the fuck out of you by interrogating every moment that you spent while we weren't around."
I suppose I could meet up with Coffee Boy. If I could only find the courage to text him.
